White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller found himself clashing with CNN correspondent Jim Acosta at Wednesday's White House press briefing. "What the president is proposing here does not sound like it's in keeping with American tradition when it comes to immigration. The Statue of Liberty says, ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses,'" Acosta said, quoting from the poem The New Colossus, which was inscribed on the statue after its erection. "It doesn't say anything about speaking English or be a computer programmer," Acosta continued. "Aren't you trying to change what it means to be an immigrant...

Gee whiz, artists are so sensitive! City sculptor Alex Gardega — seething over the “Fearless Girl” statue being placed across from Wall Street’s “Charging Bull” — has decided to retaliate with a work of his own. Gardega created a statue of a small dog, titled “Pissing Pug,” and his sloppily crafted pooch takes direct aim at “Fearless Girl” — or, at least, at her left leg. “This is corporate nonsense,” Gardega told The Post of “Fearless Girl,” saying it was put opposite artist Arturo Di Modica’s famed bull as a publicity stunt by a Boston-based financial firm.

Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates infamously refused to enforce President Trump's executive order on immigration, which banned immigrants from seven Middle Eastern and African nations. Because of her refusal to comply with the order, Trump relieved her of her duties. At a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing Monday, Yates stood by her actions, insisting she believes the travel ban is intended to discriminate against Muslims. She could not in "good conscience" defend it and or send DOJ lawyers in to defend it."I was not convinced it was constitutional," she told Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). "There was no way in the world I...

Lately, Chavez declared himself a member of a charismatic congregation, thus allegedly belonging to his country's fastest-growing branch of Christianity. But then he angered the country's National Catholic Bishops Conference by communing at a Mass organized by a priest of pro-Communist leanings. Should you have any doubt that Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is in serious decline, consider this: His bust is being removed from the altars of his country's popular religion, a renowned anthropologist told United Press International on Monday. Less than four years ago, the syncretistic Maria Lionza cult celebrated Chavez as the reincarnation of Simon Bolivar, (1783-1830),...
