Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins reiterated his support for Colin Kaepernick on Wednesday while simultaneously taking a pretty clear swipe at one NFL starting quarterback. With the Eagles preparing to take on the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars, Jenkins said that he thinks Kaepernick deserves to have a quarterback job in the NFL, and that the play of the Jaguars is proof of that.

What a difference a week can make for the Kansas City Chiefs and what a difference it can make for Sunday Night Football too. Last week, the then unbeaten Chiefs came up short against their likely AFC title rivals the New England Patriots, with the Tom Brady-led crew scratching out a 43-40 win and rising ratings. Last night, the Chiefs took on and took down the Cincinnati Bengals 45-10. Snaring the Chiefs’ sixth win of the season so far, a jaw-dropping part of last night’s came from running back Kareem Hunt who was literally up, up and away with multiple...

Don’t look for Amy Schumer in any Super Bowl LIII commercials this time around. She’s sitting this one out as she stands with Colin Kaepernick and his take-a-knee protest against racism and police brutality. The comedian and “I Feel Pretty” actress explained her stance at length Friday on Instagram, challenging white NFL players to kneel as well. Addressing them directly, she wrote: “Otherwise how are you not complicit?”

A white woman called the cops on a black father at his child’s soccer game — claiming he yelled at the referee, when he was actually just cheering on his son, according to local reports. Two other women who were at the teen match in Ponte Vedro, Fla., over the weekend took videos and posted about the incident on Facebook — uploading images of the field marshal who called the police, showing her sitting in a blue golfcart with a phone to her ear and nicknaming her “Golfcart Gail.” “A parent at my son’s soccer game had the police called...

The ongoing debate in America is about how "violent" football is, and how it is causing paralyzation, depression, suicide, etc. Would you allow your son/grandson to play football?

NEW YORK -- The NFL is attacking the concussion issue on a team-by-team basis. At the owners meetings in New York on Tuesday, Dr. Allen Sills, the NFL's chief medical officer, said the league identified seven teams in 2017 that had a higher incidence of preseason concussions than the others and "did a targeted intervention with those clubs." Sills said that process involved wide-ranging discussions with the football operations staffs of the teams that included the design of practice drills and which helmets players were wearing.

It's time to end women's sports – especially since they're not just "women's" sports anymore. A case in point is "Rachel" McKinnon, Ph.D., a man masquerading as a woman (MMW), or a "transgender," as the enlighteners say, who just won a women's masters cycling event. As The Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft (almost) put it, he "whooped them little girls." McKinnon isn't alone, as many MMW have won women's sporting events during the last decade. To name just a few, a 55-year-old MMW won a women's long-drive competition (golf) in 2008. Last year, a 39-year-old MMW won a women's weightlifting event....

Newly named USA Gymnastics head Mary Bono apologized Saturday for a month-old tweet showing her blacking out a Nike logo after the post was slammed by Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles. “I deeply regret posting the Tweet because I respect everyone’s views and their fundamental right to express them,” said the former Republican congresswoman from California in a statement.

Yesterday, a biological male who identifies as a female won a women's world championship cycling event. Rachel McKinnon, a professor at the College of Charleston, won the women’s sprint 35-39 age bracket at the 2018 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Los Angeles. It's becoming more common for biological males who identify as female to win women's sporting events. Daily Caller: McKinnon celebrated the victory on Twitter, writing: “First transgender woman world champion…ever.†Allowing biological males who identify as transgender women to compete in women’s athletic events has been a controversial subject, as critics have argued that it puts the female competitors at...

A new trend is giving a break to breastfeeding sports fans. Lactation stations have started popping up in sports spaces: basketball arenas and baseball and football stadiums. Unlike bathroom stalls, lactation stations give moms a quiet and sanitary place to nurse their children—which most moms didn’t have just two decades ago. In 1999, Americans were almost evenly divided on whether they felt breastfeeding mothers should do so in public or private, with nearly a third neither agreeing nor disagreeing. Today, over half of Americans say they feel comfortable with mothers breastfeeding near them—yet many public places aren’t the most sanitary....

In his youth, Herschel Walker’s freakish athleticism allowed him to channel a quiet rage that allowed him to excel in football, bobsledding, sprinting and mixed martial arts. Walker, now 56, isn’t quite the athletic marvel that he was when he was in his 20s, but that doesn’t mean that fire in his belly is gone. Unfortunately for Don Lemon, Walker is directing every last bit of his fire toward the CNN host after a controversial segment Tuesday on Kanye West’s visit to the White House. Lemon, along with political commentators Bakari Sellers and Tara Setmayer, sparked outrage with comments about...

As players arrived at Mercedes-Benz Superdome for Monday’s game between New Orleans and Washington, Saints running back Alvin Kamara appeared wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey and a red ball cap with the slogan “Make Africa Home Again:” The 2017 Pro Bowler and Georgia native didn’t exactly explain his hat and why he is pining for Africa. However, the player’s mother is a Liberian immigrant. Still, Kamara has been one of the Saints’ players often seen protesting during the playing of the national anthem, sometimes staying seated during the song and other times taking a knee. The start of the 2018...

In the case of Hernández v. the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, longtime umpire Ángel Hernández alleges Major League Baseball discriminated against him because he is of Latino descent by declining to name him a crew chief and preventing him from working World Series games. Given the plum assignment of first base in Game 3 of the American League Division Series on Monday night, Hernandez proved one thing beyond a reasonable doubt: MLB is guilty of discriminating against getting calls right when it allows Ángel Hernández to umpire a playoff game. If MLB on Tuesday morning filed an exhibit...

Mildenberger turned pro in 1958 and first challenged for the EBU title in 1962 but lost to Dick Richardson. The mantra for the current NFL champions in Philadelphia may be “fly Eagles, fly,” but last night on Sunday Night Football it was Super Bowl XLVII winners the Baltimore Ravens who hit high notes in tearing the Pittsburgh Steelers apart. In a 26-14 win on SNF, the Ravens are now 3-1 this season and the Keystone State team is near the bottom of the AFC North. The game in Pittsburgh on Sunday also saw another type of bottoming out in the ratings for the league and the NFL, as the primetime Week 4 matchup drew a 12.3/21 in metered-market results...

A Georgia high school football player died Sunday evening after sustaining a severe brain injury from a game Friday night, Atlanta’s FOX 5 reported. Dylan Thomas, 16, was a linebacker for Pike County High School in Zebulon, which is about an hours’ drive south of Atlanta. On Friday, Pike County played against a varsity team from Peach County High School. Thomas collided with another player in the middle of the game, but returned to the field, his uncle told FOX 5. When Thomas was sitting on the sidelines, his arm and leg went numb and he collapsed, Thomas’ uncle said.

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz had just finished a hot August training-camp practice and was chatting with the family of Lukas Kusters -- the Dutch Destroyer -- when a little boy came sprinting onto the field and approached the circle. He had a full head of blonde hair and was wearing shades and a green Wentz jersey. In his right hand was a replica Eagles helmet he was hoping his favorite player would sign. "Max," called Lukas Kusters' mom, Rebecca Burmeff, encouraging the boy to join them. "Do you know who this is?"
