He was traveling in the hot air balloon with his girlfriend, and it's unknown whether or not she suffered any injuries as well. The New England Patriots signed Stallworth in 2012, but placed him on injured reserve after New England's Week 14 win over the Houston Texans. Stallworth suffered an ankle injury after hauling in a 63-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady, and unfortunately saw his season cut short as a result. The Patriots are believed to be interested...

“Do you see the Freeh report differently now than you did at the time?” “Oh yes, very much so.” Those words came from Emmy-winning journalist Bob Costas last week in a radio interview with Kevin Slaten of KQQZ in St. Louis. Costas spoke at length to Slaten about his evolving opinion of the Freeh report, Joe Paterno’s legacy, and the Penn State situation as a whole in what is some of the most balanced rhetoric I’ve heard from a national media source about the Sandusky scandal. Costas has been on top of this story from the start, most notably in...

Spring training is a time during pre-season where players get to practice, play and make mistakes. This year, even the ball girls are getting in on the blunders. The Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays were in the top of the sixth inning this weekend when Rays' hitter Shelly Duncan hit a ground ball that bounced into left field foul territory. The ball was ruled fair, but a Hooters ball girl picked it up with her glove and handed it to a fan in the stands. The embarassing move wasn't a total loss. "She has no idea that she has...

With a one-point lead, 2.9 seconds to play and possession of the ball, all Hugo High School had to do was inbound the basketball and run out the clock to advance in the Oklahoma state boys’ basketball tournament. But what followed stunned everyone. Hugo guard Trey Johnson got confused after he received the inbounds pass and laid the ball into the wrong basket just before time expired, giving the opposing team, Millwood High, a 38-37 win Thursday night and a place in the Class 3A semifinals.
