What Happened to Jeremy ("Linsanity") Lin?I’m a big fan of Christian athletes. I root for them. I want them to succeed. I want to see better role models in the culture. We can sure use them these days. I’ve always rooted for Tim Tebow, and through all of his trials, tribulations, and injuries, I still believe we haven’t heard the last from him. Which brings me to Jeremy Lin, the basketball player. Basketball was my favorite sport growing up, and I logged thousands of hours. You had to peel me off the court to get me to quit. Jeremy Lin...

The Daily Beast published an article Sunday accusing Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Mariano Rivera of “secret far-right politics,” solely on the basis of the fact that he is a Christian who supports the State of Israel. The story, by Robert Silverman, is titled, “Inside Baseball Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera’s Secret Far-Right Politics.” But there is no evidence of “secret far-right politics” in the article. Silverman says that despite the admiration the legendary New York Yankees closer has received from fans, he has “served at the pleasure...

Americans should be rallying together because of her success with the team, instead she is helping to divide us even further. She uses profanity to express her hatred towards the country and her character really shows when she speaks about President Trump. Rapinoe turned down an invite from the administration before it even happened. Rapinoe believes that her and her teammates should receive the same pay as the men’s team. She does not mention anything about the fact that the men’s team brings in a lot more revenue for the organization than her team does. Rapinoe is much like AOC,...
