Wednesday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said to expect President Joe Biden to lay out his accomplishment while in office during Thursday’s State of the Union address. Among those, according to the Delaware Democrat, was how Biden “brought us together.” “Even when you talk about Israel support, even within his party, your party, and that even with the success he’s had in the economy, you’re quite right, a good many of economic numbers are turning around, very few giving him credit for it,” FNC host Neil Cavuto said. “What do you think?” “Well look,...

Since Nancy Pelosi has set the precedent that it is acceptable to tear up the SOTU address, I hope that Speaker Johnson does the same.I don’t remember any democrats saying that Pelosi’s insulting and disrespectful actions were inappropriate, so I am sure the democrats will be ok with Johnson doing the same. Pelosi set the precendent, I just hope that Johnson follows her lead and gives Biden the same respect the democrats gave President Trump!

Back due to popular demand and “tremendous success – beating All Records” last year, President Trump is providing another play-by-play of Biden’s State of The Union Address tomorrow. Biden will address a Joint Session of Congress at the United States Capitol tomorrow at 9 PM ET. The Gateway Pundit reported on Trump’s response last year, where he slammed Joe Biden for allowing “millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries” to storm across our southern border and drug cartels to make record profits off of human and drug trafficking and killing the American people. Trump also slammed Biden...

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that he planned to watch President Joe Biden's State of the Union Address on Thursday and comment on his remarks as the speech progresses. "I am pleased to inform you that tomorrow night we will be doing a LIVE, Play by Play, of Crooked Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address," he posted. "I will correct, in rapid response, any and all inaccurate Statements, especially pertaining to the Border and his Weaponization of the DOJ, FBI, A.G.s, and District Attorneys, to go after his Political Opponent, ME (something never done before in this...

With fewer than nine months to go until Election Day and Joe Biden continuing to slide in the polls, Biden’s upcoming State of the Union Address on March 7 presents perhaps one of the last major opportunities he will have to reset his flailing re-election campaign. Here are five things to expect when Biden goes before Congress for what could be his final time as president.Biden Will Blame Republicans For The Border Crisis If Biden’s last two State of the Union addresses are any guide, Americans can expect to hear plenty of blame-shifting when Biden takes the podium next week. With the...

If Wikipedia refers to The State of The Union as an ANNUAL event, shouldn’t we be hearing a date set soon? Can this event be strongly encouraged by our Representatives and Senators?

In keeping with Democrats’ 2024 plan to emphasize abortion, first lady Jill Biden invited Kate Cox, who left Texas in December to have her disabled baby aborted, to the annual State of the Union address in March. President Joe Biden and Jill Biden spoke with Cox on Sunday and invited her to be one of the first lady’s guests, which she accepted, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday.

Kate Cox, a mother of two, sought a court order to block Texas' abortion bans after she discovered that her developing fetus had trisomy 18, a fatal diagnosis. Kate Cox, the Texas woman at the center of a high-profile abortion case, will attend the State of Union address in March as a guest of first lady Jill Biden, the White House said Wednesday. President Joe Biden and the first lady called Cox on Sunday to hear about her experience and invited her to attend the address, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing. "They thanked her for her...

WASHINGTON - Speaker Mike Johnson is inviting President Joe Biden to deliver his annual State of the Union address on March 7. In a letter sent to the White House on Saturday, Johnson, R-La., extended the formal invitation for Biden to speak to a joint session of Congress. Johnson said he was inviting Biden "in this moment of great challenge for our country." This will be the first State of the Union for Johnson as speaker, who traditionally sits behind and to the left of the president during the address to Congress. This year's speech will offer an opportunity for...

The numbers are in, and now we know that Joe Biden’s SOTU speech was the worst-rated one in thirty years and generated ten million fewer viewers than his 2022 speech, according to Nielsen data. Perhaps Americans wanted to watch a non-fiction program instead of watching Biden repeat his oft-told lies. On the bright side, he didn’t deliver his fake Amtrak story again. But he did tell the lie about the GOP wanting to dismantle Social Security and Medicare. Nielsen measured the speech audience across 16 broadcast and cable networks. The speech drew an estimated 27.3 million viewers, compared to 38.2...

Biden’s State of the Union address saw him bragging about his record job creation (actually, it was the private sector, not Biden than created jobs) and historic unemployment rate. What Biden didn’t mention (along with not discussing the porous Mexican border with fentanyl pouring across or why he failed to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon until after it has passed over numerous military reservation) is that the unemployment rate always hit a low point just prior to a recession. So, here we sit at 3.4% unemployment. But we also see the US Treasury yield curves (10Y-3M and 10Y-2Y) remaining...

Last night, President Joe Biden delivered the best State of the Union address I’ve heard in my lifetime. He turned what is usually a boring exercise in partisan clapping and mutual back-patting into a riveting combination pep rally, poetry slam and real-time legislative session. I was entranced the entire 72 minutes. I laughed. I cried. I yelled “sick burn.” Even Speaker Kevin McCarthy nodded along to half of what Mr. Biden had to say. Joe Cool was bipartisan. He appealed to Middle America. He handled his hecklers with a million-watt smile. He looked and sounded like Presidents do in the...

Joe Biden misinforms, ignores, and attacks—and then calls for “unity,” as the country collectively slides into ruin. A fter listening to the State of the Union address, Americans know why the latest Reuters poll has Joe Biden at 41 percent approval. Vice President Kamala Harris polls even lower—despite the obsequious efforts of the most biased media in history that has, in effect, merged with the Democratic Party. The nation was reminded again why only 37 percent of Biden’s own party want him to run again. Only a quarter of Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction under...

During the State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden tried to claim that the U.S. southern border is improving, despite the fact that it has gotten significantly worse. Under the Biden administration, illegal immigration has soared to unprecedented levels. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded over 250,000 encounters with illegal aliens in December 2022, the highest number recorded in U.S. history.Based on December's numbers, the administration has now experienced ten straight months of 200,000+ illegal alien encounters. But the president claimed otherwise during his speech to Congress. "We now have a record number of personnel working to secure...

A newish president of the United States takes the rostrum of the House of Representatives to give his second State of the Union address. Fair or not, many Americans harbor doubts about the validity of his election, and most seriously, his mettle for the job. His country is at war, although it doesn't exactly look like wars past, and it is halfway around the planet. The war is popular, but only so much, with no clear endgame and no pretty way to spin the demonization of the war's domestic opponents. The economy is sort of fine, though maybe really not,...

The opinions expressed in guest op-eds are those of the writer and do not necessarily represent the views of RedState.com.The president’s State of the Union Address offered an important opportunity for Joe Biden to set a new tone for his administration. After many years of extreme partisanship in Washington, Biden could have used this high-profile speech to reach across the aisle to Republicans, who are now in charge of the House of Representatives, to find common ground on important issues. Unfortunately, the president chose to go in a radically different direction, directly attacking Republicans, giving vague promises, and repeating the...

Sundance is that quietly salty cuss who prefers to swing the sharp machete alone amid the deep weeds; clearing the path simply for the sake of creating clarity and larger understanding about the topography of the stuff the professional political class would prefer to keep hidden in the weeds. At times, he settles himself atop the bluff, opens his lunchbox and thermos to eat a simple sandwich, shirt sleeves will suffice as a napkin, while looking at the flow coming into the clearing… Amid this era of insufferable pretending, our dear and rebellious non-pretending CTH friend, the Great Lou Dobbs,...

While Joe Biden may not have a wooden heart, he definitely has a wooden head. Particularly given the number of whoppers he told during the State of Joe Biden’s Mind speech last night. Biden took credit for creating more jobs in two years than any administration had in four years. Well, that is incredibly misleading (but it is Joe Biden after all). The US economy saw an economic shutdown in 2020, then a “revival” after the government shutdowns ended. What Biden failed to mention in his SOTU address was that 12,539k jobs were added under Trump from May 2020 through...
