(CNSNews.com) – Four adult children of same-sex parents have submitted amicus curiae briefs in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals asking that it oppose the legalization of same-sex “marriage." The Court, in New Orleans, La., heard arguments on Jan. 9 as it considers whether to uphold traditional marriage – defined as being between one man and one woman -- in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. B.N. Klein, Robert Oscar Lopez, Dawn Stefanowicz, and Katy Faust all grew up with homosexual parents. All four argued that redefining marriage to include same-sex couples would harm children by depriving them of a mother or...

Film director Roman Polanski is to attend an extradition hearing in court after the US lodged a request with Poland to have him brought back. Polish-born Polanski has been wanted by US police since 1977, when he fled the country after being charged with having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

As I write this article, the ancient city of Sodom is being excavated on the Northeast tip of the Dead Sea in Jordan. The Site is called the Tell el-Hammam Excavation Project led by Dr. Steven Collins of Trinity Southwest University, College of Archaeology. The project has uncovered evidence of an advanced society replete with Greek architecture, art, and an advanced economy. There is also evidence of a cataclysmic event, similar to a nuclear type explosion, that leveled the city at one point in its history. After the cataclysmic event, perhaps the most significant finding is the similarity of Sodom...

Two Michigan parents said that a local doctor recently refused to see their six-day-old child because they are lesbians, the Detroit Free Press reported Wednesday... Jami and Krista Contreras said they made an appointment with pediatrician Vesna Roi at the advice of their midwife, according to television station WJBK. But when they brought their daughter for an appointment with the pediatrician, they said they were met by another doctor who told them that Roi would not treat a baby with two mothers, according to the Free Press. Roi sent a letter of apology to the parents, later acquired by the...

Tzipi Livni, head of Hatnua and possible prime minister of Israel if her “Zionist camp” union with Labor wins in elections, after which there would be a rotation between her and Labor head Yitzhak Herzog, made a campaign promise on Saturday of same-sex marriage. Livni was at a “Dreck” party at the Oman 17 club in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, where she was dancing with gay couples before taking the stage and the microphone. “Good evening, Dreck. There’s a chance that on March 20 (after elections—ed.) we’ll come to celebrate the end of the period of darkness, racism and...

In a contentious 25-minute interview with Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore on Thursday, CNN “New Day” co-host Chris Cuomo discussed Moore’s refusal to adhere to a federal judge’s ruling on same-sex marriages. Cuomo and Moore disagreed on whether or not the federal court decision was binding to the point that it required the state of Alabama to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. But they also continued the argument to the point of where certain rights originate, to which Cuomo argued they came from man and law, and not from God...

A court decision upholding Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim’s conviction on sodomy charges raises “serious concerns about rule of law and the fairness of the judicial system in Malaysia,” the White House said Tuesday. The relatively rare public rebuke over a foreign criminal conviction came despite warming relations between the U.S. and the Malaysian government. President Obama visited the country last year, the first sitting president to do so in nearly half a century.

Public opinion surveys show that a majority of adults — and a growing one — now supports same-sex marriage. But the rapid change in public opinion may obscure another fact: Large areas of the country remain overwhelmingly opposed to same-sex marriage, with little sign of change. Alabama is one of those places, and the chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court this weekend encouraged probate judges there to defy a federal court order to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. The emerging national majority in favor of same-sex marriage is built on high levels of support in well-educated metropolitan areas,...

A Sunday night order from Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore ordering probate judges not to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples caused confusion at county courthouses this morning. Probate judges in several counties decided not to issue any marriage licenses at all - to same-sex or heterosexual couples. In some counties, including Butler County, Colbert County and Coosa County probate courts are taking marriage applications from all couples but not issuing licenses. In Coffee County, Jefferson County, Chilton County and Madison County, probate judges said they will issue marriage licenses to all couples, gay and straight, on Monday...

Southwest Airlines is among the major corporate sponsors of the 2015 “Creating Change” conference, an annual event drawing thousands of homosexual, bisexual, transgender, “queer” and “kink” (sadomasochistic) activists from across the country. The massive gathering of LGBTQueer activists opens today in Denver and includes a screening of a documentary film celebrating a “gay”-authored play casting “Jesus” as a homosexual. The documentary, “Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption,” celebrates the 1998 play “Corpus Christi,” by homosexual playwright Terrence McNally, in which “Joshua,” representing Jesus Christ, is cast as a homosexual who as a teenager had homosexual sex with Judas (who later becomes...

I’m glad there’s a moderate Democrat finally running for president. I just wish he were running on the Democratic ticket. Jeb Bush, a likely Republican presidential candidate, called for “respect” of same-sex marriages on Monday as his home state of Florida began allowing gays to wed following a court ruling. Bush, a former governor of Florida, said in a statement that even those like him who oppose same-sex marriage must “respect the rule of law” now that the state’s ban on gay marriages has been ruled unconstitutional. Do you know what else is the law of the land? ObamaCare. So...

You may not remember this, because it all started way back in 2001, but an important test case just resolved itself up in Rhode Island. Back in 2001, two Christian Firefighters were forced to participate in a sodomite parade that took place in Providence, Rhode Island. The two firemen asked for reassignment based on their religious beliefs and were promptly denied by their superiors. After some time and receiving legal advice, they decided to sue both the mayor and the fire chief of Providence. The firefighters are both Roman Catholic, and as such, are opposed to the glorification of the...

A prominent activist for homosexual rights in the military is awaiting trial for forcible sodomy and abusive sexual contact, the Washington Blade reports. Air Force Lt. Joshua Seefried was initially charged in April, a development that went largely unreported by the media. The charges came about after complaints from U.S. Marine Lt. Edgar Luna, who is also homosexual. On a weekend in May of 2012, Seefried had gathered with a group of homosexual military officers in New York City. Luna was also present, and the group was celebrating the repeal of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, which Seefried’s...

The RAND Corporation has released initial results from a study that estimates the number of U.S. service members who experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment or gender discrimination in the past year. The Department of Defense selected RAND to conduct this congressionally mandated study. Approximately 170,000 service members, or 30 percent of the 560,000 invited, answered questions for the study, one of the largest of its kind. RAND researchers estimate that approximately 20,000 of the U.S. military's 1.3 million active-duty members experienced one or more sexual assaults in the past year, including assaults by other service members, civilians, spouses or others....

Again, this is another move under the Obama administration to put the American public in danger while promoting what is clearly an unhealthy lifestyle. The Food and Drug Administration advisors will be meeting the first week in December to talk about lifting a thirty year old prohibition on sodomites donating blood. ------------- Let me ask you America, would you be willing to run that risk of a sodomite donating blood with the slim chance that he may just give you HIV? Wouldn't that be like me offering you a coke with the possibility that it contained only 1% poison? Would...

FULL TITLE: Father charged with sodomizing and abusing his nine-year-old son is found hanged in his jail cell A man that had been accused of committing numerous sex crimes against his nine-year-old son allegedly killed himself this week. Defense attorney Adam Bollaert told Al.com that on Monday evening his client Carl Herold was found hanged inside a cell at Clay County jail. At the time of his death, Herold had been in the middle of an extradition for federal child pornography charges in New York state, the website reported. Last year, authorities arrested Bollaert and his partner Charles Dunnavant in...

The recent Synod on the Family, part one, created confusion among many people from the moment it was announced. In addition, not everyone knew that “the Extraordinary General Assembly would be followed by an Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2015, on the same topics.” The events this past October were nothing more than round one on Catholic doctrine, pastoral leadership, and subjects related to the family. But what also became clear is that some of the topics addressed by the bishops at the synod are more than a little contentious. Among these are the questions...

In a huge setback for LGBT activists, this week, the high court of Singapore upheld the country’s ban on anal and oral sex between men. Challengers to Section 377A of the Penal Code argued that the ban violated their rights to equal protection and to life and liberty. The court rejected these claims and said any changes in the law must come from the legislature. Two separate challenges were brought, one by a man caught having sex with another man in a public toilet and the other by a homosexual couple. A High Court judge rejected both cases last...

ROME (CNN) - Under furious assault from conservative Catholics, the Vatican backtracked Tuesday on its surprisingly positive assessment of gays and same-sex relationships. In a report Monday, the Vatican had said that gays and lesbians have "gifts to offer" the Christian community and acknowledged that same-sex couples can give "precious support" to one other. The statement, an interim report from a closely watched meeting of Catholic clergy here, was widely praised by liberals. It is believed be the first time the Vatican has said anything positive about gay relationships. One longtime Vatican journalist called the statement a "pastoral earthquake." But...
