Film director Roman Polanski is to attend an extradition hearing in court after the US lodged a request with Poland to have him brought back.
Polish-born Polanski has been wanted by US police since 1977, when he fled the country after being charged with having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

I suspect she doesn’t want it all dragged up again, and having some information come out about her own actions in the matter. The horse is dead here, except for some prosecutor trying to make a name for himself ... :-) ...
Maybe he gave Cosby dosing tips. That’s about the only way to get libs interested in prosecuting him.
And he deserves to spend his last few years in prison.
There is absolutely nothing a child can do that justifies what a grown man did to her.
She says forget about it because she moved on but she is still adamant that she was raped.
As for Roman, he fled his case. He jumped his bail. That is its own crime.
Only Nazis deserve that. Communists, Libyan terrorists, Hollywood sex criminals, they all get amnesty.
I think we’ve got better things to be spending our prosecutorial dollars on... just my opinion, and I don’t care that strongly about this issue, so if someone wants to argue with me, that’s ok, I’m not arguing back... just stating my opinion once and moving on.
There are kids who try to claim ... “but, but, I was just a kid” and get away with things. I don’t buy the story.

Yep, all the ILLEGAL ALIENS destroying the country ... and ... let’s go over to Poland! No wonder this country is going down the tubes ... NO PERSPECTIVE on things ... as far as the country staying viable!
His actions are what he was judged for, not hers.
They may not come back with Polanski but they'll bring back fine memories of Warsaw's better dining establishments and watering holes.
According to the then 13-y/o girl, he drugged her and tried to rape her. She said “no” and physically resisted, and he forced himself on her using his superior strength. I don’t think predators should count on ever being safe from a crime like that. Extradite him. Try him. If the evidence is still there, convict him of this vile crime against a pre-teen girl. Then lock him up forever, or as long as it takes for an ordinary, decent criminal to deal with that pedophile.
Whoopie Goldberg claims it wasn’t “rape-rape”, but using drugs and force against a young child is close enough to “real” rape for me. [Actually, even if she consented and dressed like Lolita, that would be more than enough for me.]
I think his pregnant wife’s murder by the Manson family may have really twisted some part of his brain! Doesn’t excuse his conduct though. But what a horrible thing to go through!
He has already been convicted. He ran off when he knew they were going to put him in prison.
As if sodomizing a little girl is “having sex with”.

He didn’t have “sex” with a 13 year old girl. He drugged and sodomized her. Seducing a 13 is bad enough, and yes Whoopi, it is rape. But drugging and sodomizing her is a disgusting violent rape that deserves severe punishment. He should spend his final days in ‘short eyes’ purgatory at Leavenworth. After a fair trial of course.
