. . . Trump is gaining, and 52 percent of Democrats are dissatisfied with the choices If you were excited about yesterday’s Fox poll showing Trump up 45-42, and thus crestfallen to see this one, don’t feel that way at all. For one thing, Fox and Rasmussen polls always show the Republican running stronger than polls put out by MSM sources. You want to believe a liberal outlet like CBS is tilting the scales by oversampling Democrats, and I absolutely believed they were doing that in 2012 to make Obama look stronger than he really was. On Election Night, I...

Who knows, maybe she will get indicted before the coronation and save the democrats all this baggage It is not often that we get to witness a true phenomenon. The Reagan Revolution was exciting but it was not a phenomenon. It was a carefully planned, long fought, and hard-won battle between the Conservative wing and the Progressive wing of the Republican Party.

In 2016, a majority of Americans (60%) have a positive image of capitalism, while only 35 percent have a positive image of socialism, a recent Gallup poll shows. According to Gallup, “Americans’ image of socialism is no better now than it was six years ago.” Indeed, it is slightly worse. Back in 2010, a greater percentage (36%) of Americans had a positive view of socialism than do today (35%), and in 2012, 39 percent of Americans had a positive view of socialism, denoting a four percent drop between then and now. Meanwhile, capitalism saw only a marginal drop over the...

The United Kingdom has a large Muslim population – 5.4 percent, according to the Office of National Statistics, or about 3 million people. Although polygamy is permitted under sharia law, most Muslim men do not have two, three or four wives. In fact, according to “The Salafi Feminist”, a Canadian blogger, average Muslims view second wives “as little more than secret mistresses, home-wreckers, and simply selfish”. However, the growing influence of Islam in the UK combined with a redefinition to allow homosexuals to marry makes a push for legal polygamy more likely. In a recent article in The Conversation, a...

Uh oh. So NOBODY cares. Bad news, outrage peddlers. We’ve known for some time that nobody really cares about your efforts to make America clamor for the end of the racist monstrosity known as the “Washington Redskins.” It’s been a non-issue for most people since day one. However, if you hate that ugly football team, things just took a turn for the worse. Not only is the majority ambivalent, but a new Washington Post poll has been released and, according to the data, Social Justice Warriors have failed to convince Native Americans that they should care either.

#NeverTrump withers. If #NeverTrump was on a stretcher, its doctor would be saying “call it” and looking up at the clock right about now. When Cruz left the race it seemed like the movement might have legs, but whatever life it once held has been steadily bleeding out ever since. As Trump gets stronger (and polls better) the odds that #NeverTrumpers could achieve their goals have all but collapsed. Now, one of #NeverTrump’s top dogs is wandering away from the effort. Mitt Romney - a man who knows a thing or two about suspending campaigns - has decided it’s time...

Tell Washington regulators to stay in their own backyard. But we have to make sure we send the same message from our yards and post ‘no trespassing’ signs in big, bold letters When the all-encompassing Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) regulation was first proposed in 2013, we addressed this inherent enslavement of every American to federal authority. Does the term “enslavement” hit a raw nerve… good. The article, 21st century Slavery – HUD vs MLK, took the issue of a federal agency dispensing zoning directives for neighborhoods, your neighborhood, to the crux of the problem – the creation of a...

Why Sanders is lying when he says he doesn’t approve of violence perpetrated on his behalf. The reason Bernie Sanders pointedly refuses to condemn his supporters for throwing chairs and making death threats against Democrat officials at and after the party’s Nevada convention is because he doesn’t actually object to their violent behavior. Sanders blew off pressure from Democrat leaders to disavow ugly tactics by his supporters at the event Saturday evening, calling the complaints “nonsense” and arguing that his supporters were not treated with “fairness and respect.” The pro-violence radicalism among Sanders supporters comes straight from the top

Disease is the absence of health. Although many diseases still have the potential to end our life we have found ways to combat them and avoid the deadly pandemics of the past. History tells us between 75 and 200 million people died in Europe during the middle years of the 14th century. It took just six years to sweep across the continent and reduce the population by at least 1/3. Those who survived were emotionally and financially destroyed. Because of modern medicine and a clearer understanding of the how and why of epidemics we are at much less risk of...

It means that one candidate can get things done to improve the lives of others, and of the nation too - proven by his past performance In the real estate profession “You’re Only as Good as Your Next Deal”. In the securities business it is said, that “Past Performance is no Guarantee of Future Results.” In fact, the best fund managers pick companies, among other factors, based on the past performance of managing executives who made “good deals.” Both mantras prove that We, Americans, had to fight for our real estate the same as Israelis fight for theirs, the same...

An Avowed Socialist is a Viable Candidate for President of the United States Let that headline sink in for a moment. I know what you’re thinking: Senator Sanders doesn’t have a chance. Before you get too much solace from that denial ridden and self-comforting thought, you’re missing the point. Put aside your desire to soothe your jagged nerves and consider that for the FIRST TIME in American history, an avowed socialist is a VIABLE candidate for President of the United States. How did we get here? Well, to begin with, Baby Boomers are no longer the largest demographic group in...

On the way to Wisconsin from Dallas, I had a minor automotive mishap. I was on Highway 151, just across the Mississippi, and the Wisconsin border, when the battery light came on. I had considered changing out the battery in Arizona when I left, but thought it could take one more trip. I was wrong. Things started going crazy with the sensors and instruments a few miles later, but I managed to take the first exit and ended up in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Dodgeville, trying to diagnose the problem. The parking lot seemed like a decent place...

The Venezuelan economy is buckling1 under the weight of its severe socialist policies, and even as its president admits to a nationwide economic emergency2, the government continues to affirm the drivers behind the collapse, blaming low oil prices and global capitalism instead. This was supposed to be the dawn of “21st-century socialism,” as the late President Hugo Chavez proclaimed3 over 10 years ago, complete with the right tweaks and upgrades to its materialistic, mechanistic approach to the human person. “We have assumed the commitment to direct the Bolivarian Revolution towards socialism,” he said, “and to contribute to the socialist path, with a...

The sovereignty of America is quietly being eroded as details have emerged surrounding the Obama administrations proposed budget for 2017 in regards to the resettlement of refugees and illegal aliens in our cities and towns. The requested budget by the President for fiscal year 2017, which begins October 1, 2016, is $2,184,860,000. According to the White House over $2 billion in funds is needed in order to “support a total of 213,000 ‘humanitarian arrivals’in FY 2017, including 100,000 refugees, consistent with the administrations commitment to admit at least this number of refugees in 2017.”

Guillermo Espinoza's efforts to retrieve $19,894 seized by Arkansas State Police were brought to an abrupt halt by Judge Chris Williams. State prosecutors asked that the money be returned to Espinoza since no criminal charges were being pursued against him. Williams rejected this request on the grounds that Espinoza had missed the 10-day deadline for filing the papers to initiate restitution. As Williams sees it, "the rules on civil forfeiture are clearly spelled out in statute. Whether or not Mr. Espinoza was or wasn't engaged in any illegal activity is irrelevant. Arkansas law gives the government the right to seize...

‘Size and scope’ means how many should we admit and where should they come from. Federal Register Notice: The United States actively supports efforts to provide protection, assistance, and durable solutions for refugees. The U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) is a critical component of the United States’ overall refugee protection efforts around the globe. In Fiscal Year 2016, the President established the ceiling for refugee admissions into the United States at 85,000 refugees. As we begin to prepare the FY 2017 U.S. Refugee Admission Program, we welcome the public’s input. Information about the Program can be found at http://www.state.gov/g/prm/. Persons...

In response to their own Catholic high school’s participation in a day of silence designed to show support for homosexuality, five nuns walked out of their classrooms last week. These strong women decided to stand with Catholic doctrine in recognition of their faith, beliefs and mission to teach their students the Church’s position on aberrant sexuality. Billed as a “national Day of Silence” the stunt was concocted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network a New York organization which has been pushing the “Day” scheme since 2000. The stand taken by the nuns comes as an affirmation of the...

"I told them they weren't gonna get anything negative out of me about Donald Trump, and they weren't really happy about that." In case you had any doubt whatsoever, let’s just lay it out: The New York Times is not just a journalistic institution that leans left in its worldview. It’s a left-wing propaganda arm, and from the moment it sets out to write a story, it is looking not to learn the truth, but to assemble information and/or misinformation (whatever works) that appears to support the Times’s preferred narrative. But the Times seems to have missed the fact that...

With these facts in view, it really is no surprise that #NeverTrump is fizzling out like a soggy bottle rocket A few weeks ago, all the political talk was about the rise of the #NeverTrump movement, a collection of “conservative thought leaders” in the media, think tanks, lobbying circles, and other organs of the “conservative” wing of the DC establishment. Angry that they had let the GOP nomination process get away from them so that the actual people had a say this time around, they vented their anger all over the radio and television and in webzines and other online...

With leadership like this that is either schizophrenic or pathological, or both, it's no wonder one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, or, worse yet, doesn't care How does an ideologue best make his case against nuclear proliferation in the midst of history’s most dangerous political atmosphere because of rogue nations possessing nuclear potential? This oxymoronic narrative of a nuke-free globe has been President Obama’s agenda as long as he has occupied the Oval Office and, disastrously, the media bought it and did everything possible to sell it to the American people. Precisely to further this wrongheaded agenda,...
