Dairy analysts estimate store milk prices could go up 60 cents in March, reaching their highest ever. "The cupboards are dry," said dairy economist Mary Ledman. Blame cheese. Short supply pushed cheese to a new peak in January, going from $1.80 to $2.36 a block. That jump is driving the March increases for "fluid milk." Moreover, in early 2013, farmers responded to higher feed costs by cutting back on herd growth. UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Everyone seems to be tired of the snow this winter, but police said one man took it too far when he took his snow rage out on a plow driver. “He had a gun to my head,” said plow driver John Abraham. “He grabbed me by the arm and tried to pull me out of my truck. As much as 14 inches of snow could hit New York City and the surrounding area tonight, as the storm that has gridlocked the Southeast comes north. AccuWeather Meteorologist Tom Kines says the snow will begin to fall around midnight and last through most of Thursday. The latest National Weather Service forecast map shows that the city will likely get between 10 and 14 inches, depending on whether precipitation changes over to rain during the day. ATLANTA (AP) -- Students camped out with teachers in school gyms or on buses and commuters abandoned cars along the highway to seek shelter in churches, fire stations - even grocery stores - after a rare snowstorm left thousands of unaccustomed Southerners frozen in their tracks.

The (light) snow started about 11:00 AM, schools were shutdown at 1:00, but nobody down can drive in anything white. People are taking 3-4 hours to get from downtown to even the expressway around Atlanta I-285. One baby was delivered on the side of Loop 285 - parents couldn't get to the hospital. Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport had a "ground stop" from about 15:00 (3:00 pm) to 17:30. It's now just lifted, but the planes aren't taking off yet. That will plug all arriving flights for many more hours.
