A St. Louis County judge has just denied the release of Michael Brown’s juvenile court records. The St. Louis Post Dispatch and an internet news site called GotNews.com asked for the release of records. In a hearing last week, a juvenile court officer said Brown had no serious felony convictions that would be public. Attorneys for the Post-Dispatch and Gotnews – continued to ask the judge for other records that would not be considered a “super-crime.”

A company whose video chat service apparently captured audio of Michael Brown's shooting said Thursday the recording was created at the time the Missouri teenager was killed this month. The revelation from Glide appears to bolster a man's claim that he inadvertently recorded audio of gunfire at the time a police officer shot and killed the 18-year-old Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson on August 9. The video was created at 12:02:14 p.m. that day, Glide said. Brown, who was unarmed, was shot by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shortly after noon.

The St. Paul Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting Thursday morning. Police confirm that the officer was not injured and the suspect is dead. The shooting reportedly happened around 7 a.m. outside of a Holiday gas station near Wabasha Street and Plato Boulevard. A witness tells KSTP he saw the suspect and police involved in an altercation. He says the suspect was throwing rocks and at one point punched one of the officers. He allegedly continued to “physically and aggressively” interact with the officers before the shooting. No other information has been released at this time.
