Last week, Dr. Ben Carson stepped onto a political mine -- really, jumped onto it with both feet -- when he answered a question from CNN's Chris Cuomo about the nature of homosexuality. "You think being gay is a choice?" Cuomo asked Carson, after Carson rightly stated that being black and being gay are two very different phenomena. "Absolutely," replied Carson. He then went on to explain, "A lot of people who go into prison straight go into prison straight -- and when they come out, they're gay." Carson's unstated line of reasoning is perfectly logical. When Cuomo asked Carson...

A gay man has spoken of his joy after his mother gave birth to his child, following a surrogate pregnancy. Anne-Marie Casson, 46, gave birth to baby Miles via C-section, after a donor egg was fertilised with the sperm of her 27-year-old son, Kyle. Kyle, 27, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire is believed to be the first single man in the UK to have a child through surrogacy, and also the first man to use his own mother as a surrogate host. But after a High Court ruling, he can now become the child’s legal father, despite also legally being the...

And so it begins... Net neutrality is already being leveraged by the illegal regime to push leftist diversity propaganda. The video, purportedly by the "Ad Council", a liberal outfit, celebrates sodomy among other things. It's titled "Diversity & Inclusion – Love Has No Labels" and will make you sick with its advocacy of perversity. Worse yet, they recruited young children for this campaign. Now that hussein has seized control of the FCC, there will doubtlessly be an edict to make television stations play it.

On Wednesday, perpetually controversial conservative Ben Carson told CNN’s Chris Cuomo that being gay is “absolutely” a choice. I agree, kind of. Last week I wrote an essay for the Washington Post in which I talked about wanting my daughter to be gay—implicitly and explicitly challenging the idea long advanced by gay rights advocates that being gay is not a choice. I’m not saying being gay necessarily is a conscious choice for many queer folks today, but I am saying it should be able to be a choice—and one that is “equally desirable to being straight.” In other words, for...

Why not all 'outsiders' are built the same, and how that might benefit Ted Cruz.Today the neurosurgeon Ben Carson is coming under political fire, including from conservatives, for giving this answer to a CNN question about whether being gay is a choice: Absolutely. Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight -- and when they come out, they're gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question[.] Uh, let's not and say we did? First of all, I think the correct answer to that question, from any presidential candidate, is...

What would you say if you found out that our public schools were teaching children that it is not true that it’s wrong to kill people for fun or cheat on tests? Would you be surprised? I was. As a philosopher, I already knew that many college-aged students don’t believe in moral facts. While there are no national surveys quantifying this phenomenon, philosophy professors with whom I have spoken suggest that the overwhelming majority of college freshman in their classrooms view moral claims as mere opinions that are not true or are true only relative to a culture. What I...

March 2, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) — An article in the Frontiers journal of medicine is sounding the alarm about the possible effects of hormonal contraception on the human brain, suggesting that the effects may be much more profound than previously thought and calling on the scientific community to devote more research to the topic.“Hormonal contraceptives are on the market for more than 50 years and used by 100 million women worldwide,†wrote Belinda A. Pletzer and Hubert H. Kerschbaum, a pair of Austrian neuropsychologists from the Paris-Lodron-University Salzburg.  “However, while endogenous steroids have been convincingly associated with change in brain...

Campus housing specifically for 15 alternative sexualities, including sadomasochists, is acceptable, but fraternities that just allow men are not, at Wesleyan University. Wesleyan University housing has an option for students who want to live with others identifying with one of 15 categories — LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM. The university's inclusiveness excludes, however, male-only fraternities. Delta Kappa Epsilon sued Wesleyan University after the liberal arts college ordered all of its fraternities to admit women, charging sexual discrimination and false and deceptive practices. Wesleyan, a Connecticut college, was founded by the Methodist Episcopal Church and named after 18th century evangelical theologian John Wesley, but is...

February 24, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- While the Ontario Liberal government under lesbian Premier Kathleen Wynne would have parents believe its newly unveiled sex-ed program is an unbiased presentation of fact, a detailed look at what kids in grades 1-8 are expected to learn reveals something entirely different.Passing the baton of the 1960s sexual revolt to today’s up-and-coming generations of youngsters, the 2015 Health and Physical Education program states in its earliest pages that sexual health “is more than simply teaching young people about the anatomy and physiology of reproduction,†but includes the relatively recent inventions of “sexual orientation, gender identity...

When Pastor Adam Phillips moved across the country with his wife two years ago and planted a new congregation in Portland, Ore., he was heeding the call of his Christian roots, an Evangelical Covenant tradition that today has a primary mission “to reach young people, engage a growing multiethnic population, and develop vibrant local churches that make disciples.” “Pastor Adam,” as his congregation at Christ Church: Portland calls him, was well suited for such a mission. Young, familiar as much with Tumblr as with theological tomes, and a former director of faith mobilization for the ONE Campaign, the antipoverty group...

The nation's highest military court has reversed the aggravated assault conviction of a Kansas airman accused of exposing multiple sex partners to HIV. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces unanimously ruled Monday that prosecutors failed to prove that any of (the) acts were likely to transmit HIV to his partners. The court upheld for "offensive touching to which his sexual partners did not provide meaningful informed consent". It also upheld his conviction for adultery, even though his wife participated.

The British government’s health program is under fire from pro-life advocates who are uspet that it is handing out condoms and lubricant to kids. The contraceptive credit card scheme is available to students as young as 13 and the card allows the youngsters to make multiple purchases of condoms and lubricant. The children can sign up for the card without even seeing a doctor or a nurse and without parental notification or permission. The program is coming under heavy criticism from pro-life groups: Entitling them to a pack of six contraceptives, the card can be used up to six times before it...

Zaneta Rago, the Director of Rutgers’ Social Justice Center, said that she was surprised there were not more millennials who believed that gender exists on a spectrum. “It's wonderful that approximately half of the respondents understood gender as a spectrum, but that means we're only half way there," she said. Daniella Anconetami, a School of Arts and Sciences first-year student, said that she believes in the gender spectrum. She said that she discovered that gender “wasn’t black and white” in high school, and said that her opinions about gender identity changed after meeting someone who was transgender in high school....

TORONTO, February 13, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Since its introduction in 2007 in the U.S. and Canada, the Gardasil vaccine against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), the main cause of cervical cancer and genital warts, has been injected in more than 50 million people in more than 130 countries, mostly young women. But concern over serious side effects and deaths following inoculations has grown enough for the Toronto Star to mount a lengthy investigation. It found more than 50 Canadian girls who developed serious medical conditions after their injections with Merck’s Gardasil (15 hospitalized) and in the U.S, more than 100 deaths...

Protesters in Los Angeles stood outside of a cinema yesterday, protesting against the new movie "50 Shades of Grey." While the movie has been considered controversial for numerous reasons, the protesters were out in force claiming the film is part of the "patriarchy" and supports "women's enslavement." Armed with posters, fliers, and airhorns, the demonstrators claimed that the movie was part of the "War on Women" and that it "romanticized" the "enslavement" of women. Here are some pictures of the protest:
