We remember that eleven years ago today nearly three thousand of our fellow Americans were killed by evil men. Every year on the anniversary of 9-11, we read out the names of those who died and comfort their families, and at military recruiting centers throughout the country, young men and women choose this day to enlist to serve their fellow Americans and ensure that something like this never hap pens again. While some try to move on with their lives and let the tragedy of that day recede in their memories, our men and women in uniform remain ever vigilant...

It's been eleven years since terrorists attacked the United States on September 11, 2001, and the lessons have not been forgotten. Yesterday, singer Tony Bennett appeared on Sirius Radio to promote his new album, "Duets II", and told Howard Stern we caused the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by bombing 'them' and they flew the planes into the World Trade Center to tell us to 'stop'. America's economy could have collapsed after 9/11, but instead, it rebounded. Its people could have sunk into depression, but we rose to the challenge of rebuilding and supporting those who had lost so much.
