The now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX donated $1 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, a Super PAC associated with Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), two weeks prior to declaring bankruptcy. FTX first filed for Chapter 11 protection two weeks ago. During the 2020 presidential campaign, now-former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried donated over $5 million to Joe Biden. During the 2022 midterm election cycle, Bankman-Fried doled out $40 million dollars to mostly Democratic politicians, making him the party’s second-largest financial backer after George Soros. According to FTX’s latest filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), the cryptocurrency exchange also gave $750,000...

For months leading up to the midterm elections, Mark had been imploring his audience on TV and radio to ignore talk of the red wave. The most important thing to do was vote and ignore the static from the pundits. Watch as Mark breaks down the numbers and statistics about why a red wave was unlikely in 2022, but why the numbers help him hold out hope for 2024. Did you catch red wave fever? Did you vote?

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) joined the chorus of Republicans calling for a delay on any Senate leadership votes until after the Georgia runoff. Graham announced in a tweet on Sunday a vote prior to the Georgia runoff would be unfair to Republican Herschel Walker if he were to beat Raphael Warnock. In light of [the Georgia senate] runoff, it would be appropriate to delay Senate leadership elections until we know who is in the Senate Republican Conference. I totally agree with Senator [Ted Cruz] that to do otherwise would be disrespectful to [Herschel Walker].”

Chevron @Chevron We call for the peaceful transition of the U.S. government. The violence in Washington, D.C. tarnishes a two-century tradition of respect for the rule of law. We look forward to engaging with President-Elect Biden and his administration to move the nation forward.

Democratic fundraisers are privately urging billionaire former presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg and his team to invest in hotly contested Senate races with just over a week until Election Day, according to people familiar with the matter. The pleas come as a super PAC aligned with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell floods these races with cash on behalf of the GOP candidates. The Senate Leadership Fund, which is run by allies of McConnell, is outraising and often outspending its Democratic counterpart, Senate Majority PAC, down the stretch. The Democratic group is linked to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Bloomberg’s response to...

A group that backed Republican Roy Moore in Alabama’s contentious U.S. Senate primary said a super PAC aligned with Majority Leader Mitch McConnell “wasted millions” trying to defeat Moore. The Senate Leadership Fund spent $9 million in the race on behalf of Sen. Luther Strange. Ed Rollins, lead strategist for the Great America PAC backing Moore, said the Senate Leadership Fund can “atone for this mistake” by providing Moore with the same level of financial support as he faces Democrat Doug Jones in the general election. …
