When I was growing up, my father taught me to get my opponent down, and while down stomp and kick them while they couldn't get back up. Thinking about Trump being elected again, I know liberals would be pissing themselves and running in circles not knowing what to do. In order to finally get them to bust a vein and fall over, we need to write our congressmen to add a bust of Trump to Mt. Rushmore. There appears to be a space on Rushmore big enough for this project. Just voting and discussing the project for a few months...

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A member of South Dakota’s House of Representatives District 1 went on a podcast recently and claimed that Mount Rushmore is a “freemason shrine” and a portal for demonic entities to enter and spread communism throughout the country. A clip from a Now Is The Time podcast episode with Joe Donnell, from Sisseton, went viral on Twitter recently. As of Tuesday, June 27, the tweet reached 558,8000 people and had over 500 comments, 968 retweets and 1,378 likes. “What the Lord has revealed to me is that Mount Rushmore has a direct ley line to...

Thursday, Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) spoke about the Biden administration’s decision to close Mount Rushmore for the Fourth of July festivities, a contrast to a year earlier when then-President Donald Trump spoke before a fireworks display. The South Dakota Republican slammed the move, claiming it was part of the “radical left’s agenda.” “You know, the decision was really arbitrary,” she said. “That’s why we’ll be appealing this decision, and the fight isn’t over. There wasn’t specific reasons that had credibility, and we call this an unlawful act to not make sure that we can conduct our celebration on July 3...

The volleys started when Carlson, in a nearly 14-minute segment, included Duckworth’s answer on CNN over the weekend when she was asked whether she also supported removing monuments honoring historical figures in U.S. history who were slave owners, such as George Washington. In her response, which went on to criticize President Donald Trump’s recent appearance at Mount Rushmore, Duckworth said there should be a national dialogue on the issue at some point. When pressed, Duckworth said, “I think we should listen to everybody.” On his show Monday night, Carlson noted that Duckworth is among the contenders to be Democrat Joe...

IN BREATHLESS, PANICKED COVERAGE THE ESTABLISHMENT AMERICAN MEDIA HEAPED SCORN AND SUSPICION ON PRESIDENT TRUMP’S 4TH OF JULY SPEECH AT MOUNT RUSHMORE ON FRIDAY NIGHT. Trump’s speech in front of the South Dakota monument was followed by a dazzling firework display, when even Fox News cut away from the ceremonies to replace their coverage with talking heads discussing the coronavirus pandemic. The New York Times rushed to label the speech “divisive” and mocked the President for what they called “using the holiday and an official presidential address to mount a full-on culture war against a straw-man version of the left...

As I listened to President Trump’s July 3 speech at Mount Rushmore (White House text here, video below), I couldn’t believe how good it was. One measure of the speech is the campaign of falsehood undertaken by the press condemning it in unison. As I wrote (here) yesterday morning, I had only my own reaction to go on. Now I can commend the following columns to the attention of interested readers:(Roger Kimball),(Ken Masugi,)(Seth Lipsky)(“A night at Mount Rushmore.”)(Neo)

On a very different Fourth of July, when many Americans are wrestling with the racist misdeeds of the country's heroes and confronting an unrelenting pandemic with surging cases, their commander-in-chief is attempting to drag America backward -- stirring fear of cultural change while flouting the most basic scientific evidence about disease transmission. In a jaw-dropping speech that amounted to a culture war bonfire, President Trump used the backdrop of Mount Rushmore to frame protesters as a nefarious left-wing mob that intends to "end America." Those opponents, he argued, are engaged in a "merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame...

Faced with a public health crisis spiraling further out of control as a result of his own governing failures, a maskless President Donald Trump ranted against the “left-wing mob,” “far-left fascism” and “cancel culture” in a disjointed speech delivered at an Independence Day celebration held at Mount Rushmore National Memorial on Friday night. “Our nation is witnessing a merciless campaign to defame our history,” Trump told a cheering crowd, most of whom also appeared to not be wearing masks. “Angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders ... and unleash a wave of violent crime in our...

The NY Times has totally given up on a few things- journalism, objectivity, veracity and history. They now advocate for the destruction of Mount Rushmore First, a history lesson. The Lakota tribe only held the land around Mt. Rushmore for a time. They stole it from the Cheyenne. After this, the Lakotas became fierce buffalo hunters riding on horseback. In around 1720 the Lakota split into sects and scattered in the region but later by about 1760 they relocated in close proximity on the east bank of the Missouri river. However, they couldn’t cross the river for over a decade...

CNN described Mount Rushmore as a “monument of two slave owners” on “land wrestled [sic] away from Native Americans” ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit there on Friday. But in 2008, CNN marveled at the landmark when then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) visited Rushmore on the campaign trail.

The chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe is calling for the removal of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, arguing that it is carved in an area that is considered sacred land to Natives. "Nothing stands as a greater reminder to the Great Sioux Nation of a country that cannot keep a promise of treaty then the faces carved into our sacred land on what the United States calls Mount Rushmore," said Harold Frazier, chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in South Dakota, where the memorial is located. "The United States of America wishes for all of us to...

The New York Times has set its sights on Mount Rushmore as protesters demand the removal of historic monuments in the name of racial justice, citing its location on “Indigenous land,” the sculptor’s purported ties to white supremacy, and two of its subjects’ slave ownership.“Mount Rushmore was built on land that belonged to the Lakota tribe and sculpted by a man who had strong bonds with the Ku Klux Klan. It features the faces of 2 U.S. presidents who were slaveholders,” the New York Times wrote, linking to a news article detailing complaints against American landmark: Mount Rushmore was built...
