Despite the John Kasich campaign admitting they did not provide enough signatures to give Kasich legal access to the Pennsylvania primary ballot, the state law only keeps the candidate off the ballot if it is legally challenged. Previously, team Rubio in Pennsylvania filed such a challenge and Kasich was legally kept off ballot. Today the Rubio allies withdrew their petition (legal challenge). As a consequence Ohio Governor John Kasich will be allowed on the PA ballot despite not having met the signature threshold for placement.

With Marco Rubio out of the race for the White House, two of his top backers in Texas are throwing their support to Ted Cruz. State Reps. James Frank of Wichita Falls and Jason Isaac of Dripping Springs, both Republicans, said Wednesday afternoon they plan to help out in whatever way possible to help elect Cruz, Texas' junior U.S. senator. "I’m definitely planning on backing Sen. Cruz at this point," Frank said. "I think honestly both Rubio and Cruz are very similar on the vast majority of issues."

A man has been found guilty of sexual assaulting a 14-year-old girl whose family he was staying with in McHenry County. Miguel Gomez, 37, was convicted Monday and now faces nine to 33 years in prison as well as deportation to Mexico. Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s name was left off Florida primary ballots according to reports relayed by Fox News’ Jennifer Eckhart on Twitter who said the local Fox affiliate has received “dozens of complaints.” Eckhart wrote the irregularities are in “Jupiter County” which does not exist. She probably meant the town of Jupiter or Palm Beach County where Jupiter is located. Palm Beach County is where Trump’s Florida base Mar-a-Lago is located.
