The son of the Moral Majority founder and the president of Liberty University told WABC radio host Rita Crosby shortly after Sunday’s presidential debate that Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R.-Wis.) and other Republican leaders used the recently released lewd tape of Donald J. Trump to execute a push against the GOP nominee for president. “I think this whole tape… video tape thing was planned, I think it was timed, I think it might have even been a conspiracy among establishment Republicans who have known about it for weeks and who tried to time it to do the maximum damage to...

All the Republicans who are coming out against Trump obviously want Clinton to win. We need to send them a message that it is the REPUBLICANS who will be blamed for the continuing destruction of this country. And the Republican elites SHOULD be blamed if there is a Clinton win.

Clinton operatives, alleged to be working in conjunction with the Washington Post, released a brief audio tape from eleven years ago that captures Donald Trump in some unsavory locker-room banter that included a reference to grabbing a certain part of the female anatomy. Multiple sources have now indicated this tape’s release was initiated weeks earlier, and that both House Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP Chair Reince Priebus, had been made aware of its intended use – and then failed to notify the Trump campaign, making them complicit in the Clinton Machine’s intent to harm the Trump campaign.

The Republican National Committee on Saturday appeared to at least temporarily halt the operations of some of the “Victory” program that is devoted to electing Donald Trump. The move comes as the GOP nominee is under mounting pressure from elected Republicans to step aside after he was caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women. In an email from the RNC to a victory program mail vendor, with the subject line “Hold on all projects,” the committee asked the vendor to “put a hold” on mail production. “Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is...

Donald Trump is kicking his #NeverTrump Republican rival John Kasich to the curb in the state of Ohio and consolidating his power among activists on the ground. Trump quietly won an important battle — with the help of the Republican National Committee — to seize control of the Ohio ground game from Kasich’s state party. Now, Kasich’s headline-making gripes about Trump are only serving to marginalize the sitting governor among Republicans.

RNC chair Reince Priebus is facing backlash after suggesting that former Republican presidential hopefuls considering a 2020 White House bid may face challenges if they refuse to support Donald Trump. “People who agreed to support the nominee, that took part in our process, they used tools from the RNC,” Priebus told John Dickerson CBS News’ Face the Nation. “Those people need to get on board. And if they’re thinking they’re going to run again someday, I think we’re going to evaluate the process…and I don’t think it’s going to be easy for them” In a fiery rebuttal, John Weaver, chief...

"I really don’t care. That's not up to me — that's up to them," Mr. Trump said on "Fox and Friends." "They signed a very, very strong pledge, and they signed it because they wanted me to sign it." . . "But Kasich isn’t on board, and the only reason he's not on board is that he got beaten so badly. He got beaten as badly as anybody can get beaten," he said. "I don’t mind it. If Kasich doesn’t endorse me that's fine," he said. "But I will say this: He and Bush and all of these people signed...

A lot of people aren’t happy that some Republicans have broken their pledge to the GOP. One of those people is RNC head Reince Priebus. Reince is warning those who don’t support Donald Trump they’ll need to watch their backs in the future. Meaning, we’re not going to help you when your election rolls around if you turn your back on us now. Makes sense – for the most part. From Newsmax: Republican National Committee head Reince Priebus says there may be “consequences” in the future for GOP presidential primary candidates who don’t stick with their pledge to support the...

Conservative radio host Mark Levin announced Wednesday night that he has banned Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus from appearing on his radio show, labeling him as Donald Trump and the alt-right's "new friend." After telling his audience that he is setting up times for Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and radio host Glenn Beck to appear on the program, he said that a representative from the RNC had reached out on Priebus' behalf. Levin went on to say that Priebus is banned after playing too many "games" with him, adding that he doesn't trust him.

Any member of an organization that truly cares about the group will not hesitate to hold the leadership accountable for the group’s actions, if they deem them to be inconsistent with the mission of the group. This is because they want to see the group succeed in fulfilling its mission. Many in the Republican Party have criticized Trump’s campaign, not because they want Trump to win, but because “they” don’t want to lose. They don’t want to lose their “power.” They want to be re-elected to their various congressional and gubernatorial offices strictly for the sake of having power, not...

"I think what you are seeing on the campaign is a continuation of a good couple of weeks that Donald Trump has had," he told reporters on a conference call, noting the Republican presidential nominee's "prepared, mature comments on the campaign trail." "It's going to be important for us and for Donald Trump to continue down this measured path that he's on and if he does that, I think he's going to be tied or ahead at or just after Labor Day."

Donald J. Trump is leaning heavily on Republican Party organizations to provide crucial campaign functions like getting out the vote, digital outreach and fund-raising, at a time when some leading Republicans have called for party officials to cut off Mr. Trump and focus instead on maintaining control of Congress. Despite an influx of campaign cash from small donors in July, Mr. Trump’s operation still largely resembles the bare-bones outfit that he rode to victory during the primary season, more concert tour than presidential campaign, according to interviews and documents filed with the Federal Election Commission through Saturday night. And some...

Priebus said, “I think he has a great week. He has been on message. He’s shown maturity as a candidate. I think he’s getting into a groove. I think he likes the new style that he’s been out on the campaign trail producing and speaking of so I think he’s done a great job. And I think the polls will begin to tighten. And the next couple of weeks,...

The Republican National Committee is stepping up its efforts to attract Hispanic voters. A new social media campaign called "GOP Hispanics: The Week Ahead" is directed toward the demographic and begins with an important message about national security. GOP Hispanics: The Week Ahead | Terrorism RNC Director of Hispanic Communications Helen Aguirre-Ferré spoke with Townhall about the new campaign and why Donald Trump should be a much more attractive candidate to Hispanics than Hillary Clinton. Clinton's supposed strength of being the "most qualified" candidate is actually her biggest weakness, the RNC director explained. "To the contrary," Aguirre-Ferré said. "She ignored...
