The Republican National Committee on Saturday appeared to at least temporarily halt the operations of some of the “Victory” program that is devoted to electing Donald Trump.
The move comes as the GOP nominee is under mounting pressure from elected Republicans to step aside after he was caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women.
In an email from the RNC to a victory program mail vendor, with the subject line “Hold on all projects,” the committee asked the vendor to “put a hold” on mail production.
“Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is in production or print it needs to stop. Will update you when to proceed,” Lauren Toomey, a staffer in the RNC’s political department, wrote in an email that was obtained by POLITICO.

This is a LIE. He made lewd, crude comments, but there aren't actions they can point to. Who are the women he bragged about assaulting? Where are they? It wasn't the soap opera costar. It wasn't the married woman - he said she rejected him. If Trump is bragging about doing it like the article says, then that means he has done it, so where are the women he supposedly sexually assaulted from the Trump Organization, Miss Universe/USA, or The Apprentice?
Anyway, Mike Cernovich on Twitter claimed the RNC is behind this leak as are the Bush family. Obviously I don't know if this is true, but at this point, it wouldn't surprise me.

Mr. Trump never should have signed that pledge to the RNC.
The majority of the GOP elites and big money donors have been against him from the beginning.
How could he have fared worse as an Independent?
for one thing, an Independent campaign manager never in a million years would have allowed him to get sandbagged in a ‘debate’ with everyone hostile to him in control, much less more than multiple debates.
A truly unbiased moderator would have been installed, the questions unknown to both sides, and reasonable rules enforced - or no debate.
