Washington (CNN)The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign, US officials told CNN. This is partly what FBI Director James Comey was referring to when he made a bombshell announcement Monday before Congress that the FBI is investigating the Trump campaign's ties to Russia, according to one source. The FBI is now reviewing that information, which includes human intelligence, travel, business and phone records and accounts of in-person meetings, according to those U.S. officials. The information is raising the suspicions...

Don’t believe a word you read, including this. However if you are a cheese-head and have cut it out for health reasons – because it’s “bad for you” - I have good news: As it turns out, not only is cheese not bad for you, it may in fact be good for you! The research from University College Dublin has concluded that people who eat a lot of cheese are thinner than those who don’t, and it doesn’t actually raise cholesterol levels…They found that the people who consumed the most dairy had lower BMIs, lower body fat percentages, smaller waists...

The book declares that "the battle for the world rule of [ethnic] Russians" has not ended and Russia remains "the staging area of a new anti-bourgeois, anti-American revolution." The Eurasian Empire will be constructed "on the fundamental principle of the common enemy: the rejection of Atlanticism, strategic control of the USA, and the refusal to allow liberal values to dominate us." ..... In Europe: Germany should be offered the de facto political dominance over most Protestant and Catholic states located within Central and Eastern Europe. Kaliningrad oblast could be given back to Germany. The book uses the term "Moscow-Berlin axis"....

In 2015 the Hearing Protection Act, which would deregulate suppressors and remove a $200 per unit ATF tax, was introduced into the House. Since then, a few different versions have been up for consideration. Now that Republicans are the majority in Congress and with a Republican sitting in the White House, the bill has a decent chance of passing. Not surprisingly, gun control zealots are opposed to the bill for all the wrong reasons. On Tuesday, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand falsely claimed witnesses can't hear gun shots that come from suppressed firearms and argued deregulating this piece of hardware would...

"Propaganda is to a democracy what the bludgeon is to a totalitarian state." – Noam ChomskyIronic isn’t it that Progressives embrace both? Propaganda and bludgeons? What old Noam failed to mention was that if everything goes according to plan, propaganda becomes the bludgeon. They’ve been using propaganda for a long while to establish officially sanctioned thought on everything from global warming to immigration to sexuality. For example they’ve propagandized the notion that all forms of sexuality is normal and acceptable unless you are a small minded bigot. I’m not being judgmental here - something Progressives abhor more than the devil himself...

Federal investigators and computer scientists continue to examine whether there was a computer server connection between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank, sources close to the investigation tell CNN. Questions about the possible connection were widely dismissed four months ago. But the FBI's investigation remains open, the sources said, and is in the hands of the FBI's counterintelligence team -- the same one looking into Russia's suspected interference in the 2016 election. One U.S. official said investigators find the server relationship "odd" and are not ignoring it. But the official said there is still more work for the FBI...

"Our Asymmetrical Response Is Nuclear Warheads" "The U.S. is the permanent 'world champion' in the size of its military budget – almost $600 billion, which is 10 times more than Russias. Even if we add together the military budgets of the top ten countries in the world, they would not reach the American budget! Now it turns out that even that is not enough for Donald Trump. He intends to increase defense expenditure by $54 billion. This money would be enough to maintain five Polish armies. Or 10 Ukrainian ones. "The American public is already grumbling at Trump, who prefers...

Not that you should expect it to stop In a previous commentary, I pointed out how the Democrats’ and liberal media’s constant drum beat for more gun control didn’t work over the eight years of the 44th president’s administration. There are some other propaganda narratives that haven’t totally stuck yet with the majority of the public, so pointing out some of them might help save some of the savable.

The New York Times has published an article from opinion columnist and academic Thomas B. Edsall blaming the Internet for the collapse of establishment authority. Arguing that the Internet “threatens Democracy,” Edsall openly concedes that he believes the freedom unleashed by the Internet to be a threat to the establishment; to its norms and language codes "As the forces of reaction outpace movements predicated on the ideal of progress, and as traditional norms of political competition are tossed aside, it’s clear that the internet and social media have succeeded in doing what many feared and some hoped they would. They...

Freeper umgud predicted "MSM will report that Trump is giving guns to crazy people." in http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3530085/posts Medscape is a bulletin e-mailed to thousands of health- care professionals. The article itself is reasoned and more accurate. ... "Trump signed a bill that overturned an Obama-era rule designed to stop certain individuals with mental disorders from buying guns. Issued near the end of Obama's presidency, the rule banned gun ownership by people who are on Social Security disability because they have mental health problems that prevent them from working and who must have someone manage their financial affairs." ... "but under the...

There’s a caveat to this claim: Sen. Coons hasn’t actually seen the transcripts. Nevertheless, Coons tells MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell he “believes†they exist.“Is the FBI Director being forthcoming enough with the intelligence committees?†Mitchell asks. Sen. Coons replies, “I think it’s important that the outcome of that counter-intelligence investigation be fully shared with the intelligence committees, both in the House and the Senate.“There are transcripts that provide very helpful, very critical insights into whether or not Russian intelligence and senior Russian political leaders, including Vladimir Putin, were cooperating, were colluding with the Trump campaign at the highest levels to...

In the overwrought, partisan allegations that Attorney General Jeff Sessions committed perjury in his confirmation-hearing testimony, let’s cut to the chase: There is a good deal of political hay to be made because Sessions made a statement that was inaccurate — or at least incomplete — especially when mined out of its context....... Prosecutors must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the speaker knowingly, voluntarily, and intentionally — not by accident, misunderstanding, or confusion — said something that was untrue, with a specific purpose to disobey or disregard the law. Therefore, when there is an allegation of perjury, the alleged...

Botched social engineering and big lie strategy have backfired. And no, we are not done judging their crimes yet. And all this, because actions speak louder than Left When it comes to big talk, leftists are in their element: grandiose speeches, propaganda sprees –you name it. Dems do not even care about “global warming” while trying to inflate the entire planet with hot air. In the last ditch to preserve their monopoly of the media, they are still operating according to their golden rule:” If we want your opinion we will give it to you”. Sabotage´s main ingredients: subversion, obstruction,...

US President Donald Trump's senior adviser Kellyanne Conway has come under fire after a picture of her casually kneeling on a couch in the Oval Office was widely shared on social media. In an image captured by an AFP photographer, Conway appears on the couch with her shoes on as Trump poses for a photo with leaders of historically black colleges and universities. Wall Street Journal columnist Bret Stephens was among those taking...

Tom Godat, a union electrician who has always voted for Democrats, cast his ballot for Donald Trump last year as “the lesser of two evils” compared to Hillary Clinton. He’s already a little embarrassed about it. There’s a lot that Godat likes about President Trump, especially his pledge to make the country great again by ignoring lobbyists, challenging both political parties and increasing the number of good-paying jobs.

As President Donald Trump prepares to deport millions of immigrants in the country illegally, a new national study shows undocumented workers pump billions of dollars into Connecticut’s economy each year. The New American Economy, a coalition of mayors and business leaders who support “sensible” immigration reform, found that the nearly 130,000 undocumented Connecticut residents pay $397 million in annual federal, state and local taxes, account for $3.1 billion in household income and represent $2.7 billion in spending power. “This research proves what we’ve known for years: Immigrants are a boom to our local economy and in every community in America,”...

Donald Trump’s chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon delivered a powerhouse presentation along with White House chief of staff Reince Priebus at CPAC on Thursday, in which one of Bannon’s main messages was that the media’s daily war against the Trump administration will continue unabated. .. As Business Insider reported five years ago, six corporations control 90% of the media in America, which puts a huge amount of power in the hands of a very few people. That number is down from 50 companies back in 1983. Who runs things? A ranking of the world’s largest media companies of 2015 says...
