Stranahan: Steve Bannon Nailed It on the Media’s Fight Against Trump

Donald Trump’s chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon delivered a powerhouse presentation along with White House chief of staff Reince Priebus at CPAC on Thursday, in which one of Bannon’s main messages was that the media’s daily war against the Trump administration will continue unabated.

As Business Insider reported five years ago, six corporations control 90% of the media in America, which puts a huge amount of power in the hands of a very few people. That number is down from 50 companies back in 1983.

Who runs things? A ranking of the world’s largest media companies of 2015 says that Comcast Corporation is the largest media conglomerate in the U.S., with The Walt Disney Company, Twenty-First Century Fox, and Time Warner in the second, third, and fourth slots.

You know who really runs things? Red State truckers. The ones who move food from red Trump-voting counties into the blue HRC islands and archipelagos. The average grocery store would be butt-naked after 72 hours of no deliveries. The resultant chaos would distract OFA and the Left for weeks if a few thousand red-county truck drivers would get the red flu for four days.

Blame it on some stomach flu going around.

I love this "Dark" soul of the Trump promise.  Bannon was spectacular at CPAC... so was Rince.

Wow, hearing these guys layout the vision and enormous hours they are putting in for America was simply thrilling!

Bannon's a brilliant strategist.  I'll bet he loves being cast as the Darth Vader.  That's the position he wants the press to believe.  He carved out that position for himself because he knows name recognition will only increase his political muscle.

Let the press create their fairy tale narratives. It's all to the good -- it's good for MAGA.

Bannon echoes Trump's experience managing the media. Bannon produced movies before, consulted in Hollywood -- he even owns a valuable piece of the Seinfeld TV series so he's collecting royalties on that.

In fact, at Breitbart he was feeding deep research studies from his henchmen to the major media outlets where the stories would pick up far more coverage.  All for the larger cause.

Tremendous to have Trump, Bannon, and Rince putting their heads together for us!  What a team!

We ALL know that the groceries just magically appear on the shelves, no animals are harmed when it comes to steak, hamburger etc etc etc

72 hours is the standard inventory for grocery stores, we have heard this many times. However, in an emergency situation, or even the hint of an emergency, bread, milk and fresh fruit and vegetable disappear within a few hours.
