Please join me to prayer for the life of my son's marriage. His wife is mentally ill and it is very difficult for him to function day to day with her irrational outbursts. They have three children so our family is praying for him to have the strength to under these tests of his faith and his devotion to his wife regardless of how sick she has become.

Please pray for freeper Shimmer1 as she continues to undergo treatments. Here is the message I received from her last night: I’m very weak tonight. I just got up from another nap. Chemo this week (wednesday) made me so weak, I’m using a wheelchair when I go to hyperbaric treatment. I cry at the drop of a hat. Now even sitting isn’t helping much. My wife and I have been living in Ferguson, MO for over 20 years. We live close enough to the Ferguson Police Station to hear the protestors that have been making their presence known over the past few months. We know many of the police officers, public officials, and private citizens who are movers and shakers in the community. We are close friends to many black and white residents in the city. President Obama did not issue a formal statement in reaction to the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri last night. But he did take time to tweet. “Violence against police is unacceptable. Our prayers are with the officers in MO,” he wrote on Twitter, signing the message with a personalized “bo.” The two officers were shot outside the police station after the police chief resigned following a report released by Attorney General Eric Holder that exposed racial prejudice within the department.

As you may already know, Dad has had alot of problems lately. He has early stage (T1) pancreatic Ductile adenocarcinoma (PDAC). He is having a Roux-en-y procedure tomorrow AM, followed by a "Whipple " procedure if the cancer doctors do not find any metastatic tissue. Any prayers for Jim Bryan (#4 all time Arkansas high school basketball scorer with 2,700+ points (before 3-points invented ) ) would be appreciated. Mrs. STC is having a "revision" or possible total replacement to a 15-yr-old hip replacement today. The hip had started popping out recently resulting in 2 trips to the ER to get it back in, so the time had come. Mrs. STC has 3 rare bleeding disorders and almost expired during the original hip replacement, so she and her surgeon have put this operation off as long as possible. Mrs. STC is a retired RN and does a shift 2 hours a day, 5 days a week feeding Alzheimer's patients at the local nursing home, so when I left her...

Got shocking e-mail from our school's director just an hour ago that one of my son's classmate's mother died yesterday! Please pray to God for help and blessings!

Just a quick prayer request for my pet Buster. He's having surgery this morning to remove a well-contained tumor in a lymph node. It should go well, but I ask for prayers for him and the medical staff working with him this morning. My father, James W. Bryan III 74, was in the hospital for dehydration. This morning at 10 AM he had a pulmonary embolus. Luckily he was very well oxygenated and was sent to ICU immediately. TPA anticoagulant was introduced and he is responding well to blood pressure medicine. Precedex given. working good. May have to increase. He is responding well to all medications. Thank you for your prayers and concerns. If you guys don't have an Trust or family plans in these types of events consider this a warning. Luckily we have everything set up should things go south.

Please say a prayer for my sister and her family. My 48 year old niece died suddenly Saturday night or Sunday morning. She has two sons, her mother, a sister and a brother. As a longer time FReeper I am requesting Prayers for my upcoming Hip Replacement Surgery. After several Medical reviews it is deemed necessary. Tuesday, October 7,2014 at 9:30 AM I will have surgery to replace my left hip joint via the Anterior method at the New Castle, Indiana, Henry County Hospital.
