Please join me to prayer for the life of my son's marriage. His wife is mentally ill and it is very difficult for him to function day to day with her irrational outbursts. They have three children so our family is praying for him to have the strength to under these tests of his faith and his devotion to his wife regardless of how sick she has become.

Sending prayers. Not to get personal, but is his wife on medication? That really can make a huge difference if it something other than brain cancer. I’ve had this issue in my family as well.

I am praying that your daughter in law is receiving the medical attention that she needs and that your son can find the strength and resources to see to it that she receives the psychiatric treatment she needs. You cannot allow the problem to fester or it will only get worse over time. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless.

Mental/Emotional illness is so hard to deal with, and keep one's Faith - Hope - Love intact. I will certainly pray for your son, and his wife and kids.
Lord of the Universe,
Creator of the earth and sky,
Master of all that exists,
You made us; we belong to you.
Please bless this troubled wife
Ad help her find recovery of her mental health.
Console and strengthen her husband and children.
Please grant her Your eternal favor,
Well-being of heart, mind, and body,
And awareness of Your goodness always,
In Jesus name.
Amen.

I hear ya. I will pray for his stability, esp his ability to bear his job responsibilities to the fullest satisfaction of his employer (if an employee) or his customers (if his own business); as well as guiding his children through the storm life if presenting them. Facing irrationality, he can only try to minimize and defeat the effects of harmful behaviors.

That’s a tough situation. I’ll be praying for all involved. Especially the kids. Hopefully she gets the help she needs and abides by it.

Dealing with someone with mental illness takes a special kind of person. May your son be blessed with all the gifts God can give him at this time.
