Tony Parker, who spent his entire 17-year career with the San Antonio Spurs, has decided to sign a contract with the Charlotte Hornets, according to Yahoo! Sports Shams Charania (via Twitter). Tony Parker has agreed to sign with Charlotte, league sources tell Yahoo. The 35-year-old point guard, who won four NBA titles with the Spurs, is expected to backup Kemba Walker, who is entering his final year of his contract. Parker, the 2007 NBA Finals MVP, is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Hornets and informed the Spurs of his decision, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski (via Twitter).

Erin Popovich, the wife of San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, died on Wednesday (April 18) at the age of 67 after a long battle with illness. The couple married four decades ago, while Gregg was serving as assistant coach at the Air Force Academy between 1973 and 1979. Erin is survived by her two children—Jill and Mickey—and two grandchildren.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Investigators are trying to determine whether skeletal remains discovered Thursday in a field near a reservoir are that of a woman who has been missing for three weeks, police said.
