San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has never been shy when it comes to criticizing President Donald Trump and he continued Monday, calling Trump a “soulless coward.”
According to Dave Zirin of The Nation, Popovich called him Monday to vent after Trump attempted to defend his lack of public statements about the four United States soldiers who were killed in an ambush in Niger.
Speaking Monday his press availability, Trump said: “President Obama and other presidents, most of them didn’t make calls, a lot of them didn’t make calls. I like to call when it’s appropriate, when I think I’m able to do it.”
Dear Popovitch, stick to basketball idiot.
Weren’t the Spurs swept in last year’s playoffs? Maybe they could use a coach that’s more focused on basketball than politics.

I was a big fan of nba and nfl growing up. Haven’t watched ghetto basketball in nearly 20 yrs and have not been a big nfl fan since 2006. The liberal black power crap has turned me off permanently

Spurs are not, were never, a “great” team.
Evidence:
Never won two championships in a row.
1999 - Championship was won during the shortened strike season. Full season NOT played.
2007 - Championship is tainted by the fact the two refs (Donaghy, Nunez) in the Suns v Spurs playoff series were found to have been cheating to help the Spurs. Without the crooked refs the Suns beat the Spurs in that series. Spurs also had help from NBA commissioner Stern.
