WASHINGTON/June 24, 2017 (AP)(STL.News) — Two weeks into her new life as a full-time Washingtonian, Melania Trump is staying true to her reputation as more homebody than social butterfly. Not that she hasn’t been busy fulfilling her duties as first lady and first mom. Her top priority has been settling in 11-year-old son Barron — the first boy in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. more than 50 years ago.....

I can’t imagine what he could have said to put enough shine on the current version of an Obamacare replacement bill that would persuade Senator Cruz to embrace it. The Senate needs 50 votes to get the bill to pass. They can’t rely on Democrats to help in that effort, so they have to pull all the Republican support they can muster. To date, that seems a faraway hope, as well. Senators Cruz, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, and as of Friday, Dean Heller have all rejected the bill, as written. Cruz, Paul, Johnson, and Lee released this statement...

This week, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified before the House Intelligence Committee. Johnson became the latest former Obama Administration official to verify that there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Perhaps more relevant, however, was his puzzlement at the Democratic National Committee’s refusal of his proffer of assistance in the wake of their computers being hacked. “Considering what was at stake, I would have thought that putting the federal government’s expertise into play to protect the DNC’s confidential communications was a ‘no-brainer,’” Johnson said. “But despite my entreaties and offers...

When it comes to domestic terrorism in America, the numbers don’t lie: Far-right extremists are behind far more plots and attacks than Islamist extremists. There were almost twice as many terrorist incidents by right-wing extremists as by Islamist extremists in the U.S. from 2008 to 2016, according to a new report from The Nation Institute’s Investigative Fund and The Center for Investigative Reporting’s Reveal. Looking at both plots and attacks carried out, the group tracked 201 terrorist incidents on U.S. soil from January 2008 to the end of 2016. The database shows 115 cases by right-wing extremists ― from white...

There are times in history when a man of humble birth rises to the occasion when his nation is in mortal danger. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was one of them. A very brief historical background During the 16th Century, Europe was awakening from its long medieval slumber. However, the Ottoman Turks also were on the rise. They expanded their territory in the Balkans, overrunning the region entirely. They made inroads into Eastern Europe, and even threatened Central Europe. If Vienna hadn’t held out, the region would’ve been in grave peril. They further expanded elsewhere, taking over North Africa, making further gains...

At a press briefing this week, Tim Slater, who leads the criminal division of the FBI's Washington field office, endeavored mightily to portray last week's assault on dozens of Republicans gathered to practice for a charity baseball game as a "purely spontaneous and random act of violence." Slater dismissed the testimony of witnesses who identified the shooter as the same man who moments earlier asked them if the men practicing were Republicans or Democrats as "insufficient to determine intent. Granted, he did go on to fire numerous rounds at these men, but we have no way of knowing whether he...

Fake News King CNN should be apologizing to the American population who voted for President Trump, not just to the guy the media dubbed as "Mooch" An early morning Tweet posted by Anthony Scaramucci, an adviser to Trump during the presidential campaign and a member of his transition team’s executive committee, after CNN removed from its website, scrubbing all links from its social media accounts, a story involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump: @CNN did the right thing. Classy move. Apology accepted. Everyone makes mistakes. Moving on.

- The Fake Indian Sen. From Massachussets – aka, Little Big Mouth Warren – responded to the GOP plan to repeal and replace the collapsing Obamacare system by calling it “blood money.” - Not to be outdone, shameless Senator Richard “Stolen Valor” Blumenthal claimed that “Senate Republicans want to gut Medicaid – throwing children and families who rely on it to the wolves” and “The Republicans’ health care plan will literally cost American lives.” - Chuck Schumer was tame by comparison: “The Senate Republican health care bill is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Only this wolf has even sharper teeth...

Red Tide: noun 1. a discoloration of seawater caused by a bloom (large concentrations of aquatic microorganisms) of toxic red dinoflagellates. It is caused by microscopic algae that produce toxins that kill fish and make shellfish dangerous to eat 2. a discoloration of facts caused by a bloom (large concentrations of media microorganisms) of toxic anti-red state journalists. It is caused by microbial scum that produce toxic fake news red alerts about Russian hacking in hopes of killing Trump’s presidency and making Republicans dangerous to elect. By daylight you can see this scourge for what it actually is: a...

Now, NBC News pundit and MSNBC host Christopher Hayes has announced there’s a strong chance Justice Antony Kennedy will retire on Monday. A liberal, Hayes believes the moves is the end of Roe v. Wade, the disasterous pro-abortion Supreme Court Case: Trump campaign insider Roger Stone confirmed that he’s hearing the rumors, too:

Why is it that every time the Democrats suffer a defeat, the media rushes to their aid, giving us the “it’s merely a flesh wound!” prognosis, and telling us here’s how the GOP is actually going to have its clocked cleaned any minute now. Any minute. So it is with this well-written, well-researched, and wrong piece from Politico Magazine, titled: “The GOP’s Suburban Nightmare.” Giving credit where it’s due, this writer does his homework in attempting to craft a convincing argument that Trump’s poor(er than Reagan) showing in suburban America is a sign of the impending doom of the GOP...

A University of Delaware professor is under a barrage of fire for social media posts stating Otto Warmbier, who passed away after 18 months of brutality from the North Korean regime, “got exactly what he deserved” for being a privileged, white male and his type “think nothing of raping drunk girls at frat parties and snorting cocaine.” “Is it wrong of me to think that Otto Warmbier got exactly what he deserved?” Professor Katherine Dettwyler wrote on her Facebook page. “He went to North Korea, for f*ck’s sake, and then acted like a spoiled, naive, arrogant US college student who...

This week, Karen Handel became the first Republican woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from the great state of Georgia. She beat out her male Democratic opponent for the seat in the most expensive House race in U.S. history, shattering all kinds of glass ceilings in the process. But according to liberal feminist writer Jill Filipovic, you’re a toxic and vindictive person if you voted for her. Yep. Instead of being happy that a woman won a seat in Congress, Filipovic actually called Handel’s voters “hateful white people” because they didn’t elect the straight white man. Why? Because...

This is your fault, Clinton Democrats. You created this, and if our species is plunged into a new world war or extinction via nuclear holocaust, it will be your fault. You knuckle-dragging, vagina hat-wearing McCarthyite morons made this happen. American military provocations against the pro-Assad coalition in Syria are fast becoming a daily occurrence. In response to the US air force’s gunning down of a Syrian military plane on Sunday, Russia has cut off its hotline with which it was coordinating operations with America to avoid aerial collisions, and has warned that all US aircraft west of the Euphrates river...

America seems to be on the brink of something dramatic. Something significant. Perhaps revolutionary. A summer of rage appears more and more likely as the nation remains bitterly divided and irreparably torn due to outlandish partisanship. The political elite and their good friends in the powerful Deep State are being threatened by the Trump administration that, for all its faults, is at least exposing the Deep Swamp that really runs Washington. The old political order is being upended by Trump’s rise to power and the media elite still haven’t figured out how to adapt. During this time of transformation, people...

People accuse me of imagining that everything President Trump does is brilliant (persuasion-wise) no matter what he does. But I expect the next version of the Republican healthcare bill to be a complete failure. That’s because Republicans seem deeply committed to a losing path, thanks to what might be called the Contrast Problem. Contrast is the driving principle behind all decisions. You have to know how your options differ, and by how much, or else you have no basis for a decision. President Obama solved for the contrast problem by designing Obamacare to cover more people than before. The rest...

In an election once widely touted by Democrats as "a referendum on the Trump presidency," Democrat Jon Ossoff lost to Republican Karen Handel in Georgia's 6th congressional district race. Ossoff nearly won the race in April's open primary—garnering twice as many votes as his nearest competitor—but fell short of the 50% +1 vote majority required. Democrats were also buoyed by a five-to-one campaign spending edge and polls showing Ossoff with a comfortable lead (on the Monday before election day, Democratic polling guru Nate Silver gave Ossoff a 70% chance of winning). Some Democrats blamed Ossoff's attempt to appeal to moderates...

Aaaannnnnnd....another of Obama's minions have appeared: This kind of leak is criminal. Exposing national security to blame Trump for Obama's failure to act. Amazing. streiff: The Washington Post has a detailed and self-serving account today from several Obama administration officials on the actions taken to stop alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. The overall picture it paints is pretty much what we have come to believe about the Obama administration. It was wildly incompetent because it was staffed by wildly incompetent people. Politics and moving the progressive agenda forward trumped, so to speak, national security. And its capacity for...

The great Norman Podhoretz, in his masterful book, “Why Are Jews Liberals,” from whence this article is drawn, seems to conclude...that the Jews have only managed to exist through their adoption of “universalist” ideas—what I would call, Statist ideas—which supremely exist and shed their spoors mostly on the Left side of a leftist-stained table cloth. We are talking civilly at table here, okay? No conspiracies of “Jew Lizard Masters From Space,” or the Rothschild Illuminati, or anything crazy, okay? We are just—for the moment—talking here. Okay; here’s THE problem: even though pro-Jew and pro-Israel forces have moved to the right,...
