“Shoot Selfies, Not Animals” is a phrase so moronic only PETA could have conjured it up. It’s the name of their latest anti-hunting campaign, which has been making the rounds online. The activist group launched the photo frame a few days ago. It’s now the number one filter currently on Facebook. It didn’t take long for the filter to go viral, but not for the reasons PETA hoped. Wilber Zarate filed a lawsuit against the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals for taking his 9-year-old daughter’s dog from their mobile park home and then putting the pooch down ahead of the state’s mandatory five-day grace period.... In the suit, Zarate claimed PETA works under a board policy of euthanizing animals because it “considers pet ownership to be a form of involuntary bondage.”

What would the world do without PETA, who always tackles the important issues? Leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, the radical anti-humans at PETA now advocate for "silent fireworks" because traditional fireworks scar dogs emotionally. According to LA Weekly, they "want to see silent fireworks, or possibly even a Summer Games without fireworks at all, so that animals aren't traumatized by the simulation of artillery." From the same people who declared that milk was a symbol of white supremacy comes this blisteringly-hot take: cheese is the most sexist food there is, cows are regularly raped on farms, and the act of eating cheese is failing to combat sexism. In order to keep producing milk, PETA describes how cows are "raped" to become pregnant again and again and how their calves are treated immediately after birth.

PETA is going after Hallmark for selling cards that it says are harmful to primates.
