Over the last two days The Oregon Poll was seen by almost 400 "unique visitors," most of them in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. The majority of these people came from these two links on the web. ronpaulforums.com stormfront.org

In today’s testimony before the house, Fed Chairman Bernanke was questioned by Representative Ron Paul in what was a remarkable exchange. Remarkable for how straightforward, lucid, and anti-statist the question was. In his questioning, Ron Paul stated: “I want to follow up on the discussion about moral hazard. I think we have a very narrow understanding about what moral hazard really is. Because I think moral hazard begins at the very moment that we create artificially low interest rates which we constantly do. And this is the reason people make mistakes. It isn’t because human nature causes us to make...

When Americans evaluate today's political landscape, most feel something between impotence and disapproval. So, while citizens shake their heads or shrug at the mainstream media's “top tier” presidential candidates, it is extraordinary how many are becoming overjoyed about one lesser covered candidate. Tens-of-thousands have joined the appropriately named Ron Paul Revolution, joining Meetup.com groups, putting up signs, and crossing states to attend rallies. Congressman Ron Paul's genuine message and untarnished record of promoting individual liberty for everyone, a free-market economy of wealth and abundance, and a foreign policy of non-intervention, peace and free trade, has attracted vast support from diverse...

ANNAPOLIS— After eleven days of presidential straw poll ballots cast at the Maryland Republican Party’s State Fair booth, Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) was announced last night as the winner. The Maryland Republican Party’s first-ever presidential straw poll at the State Fair resulted in nearly 1,000 Marylanders casting a vote for their favorite Republican candidate for president.

Avery Knapp is typical of the Paul Web supporter. A 28-year-old radiology resident, Knapp describes himself as a lifelong conservative who voted for President Bush in 2000 before growing disillusioned with the Iraq war and federal spending. Bush "did nothing but increase the size of government. The Republican Party needs to move back to its core principles," Knapp said. Many Paul supporters share Knapp's disdain for what he called a "neo-conservative clique" and hope Paul can spark a Goldwater-style insurgency. At 46, Kevin Leslie has never bothered with politics. After watching an interview with Paul during his 1988 campaign as...

Ron Paul clearly won the Republican presidential debate last night held in New Hampshire. Viewers were asked to text in their thoughts on who won the debate, Ron Paul received 34%, Giuliani 17%, all others lower. Fred Thompson who did not appear at the debate was clearly the largest loser as his pro-war stance and republican hard line talking points seem to be not what the people are looking for. Sean Hannity, Fox News pundit, was clearly upset with the results and deliberately ridiculed Congressman Ron Paul. Although outpacing all other candidates by a 2-1 margin, it was clear that...

Besides FOX starting out with a bash Fred Thompson session, this was probably the most interesting segment of the debate. Huckabee takes on the Conspiracy theorist Ron Paul about the surge. Enjoy!

How A Dark-Horse Can Win The Nomination By Thomas F. Roeser - The Wanderer PressCHICAGO — Two weeks ago I played political strategist for Ron Paul. In the old days of my misspent youth, when I was a hired gun political strategist working for the Minnesota Republican Party, nobody asked whom I was for. They didn’t care. My boss just showed me a candidate and ordered me to devise a strategy for him/ her at lowest possible cost. And because I liked to continue eating, I did it.It didn’t work out too badly. After a few of us got the...

The Ron Paul 2008 national office in Arlington, Virginia occupies the second floor of this building (about 3,000 square feet). It's on a busy street and across from a busy grocery store. People are noticing our "Ron Paul 2008 - Hope for America" sign. Georgetown Valet dry cleaners will be open in about a month and in a building next door (left) a restaurant is under construction.

Is this what my grand party has come to? Ron Paul is insulting, incompetent, and now I am sure he is an outright nut. What I am posting here stupefied me after I read it. I could not believe I was reading about a Republican... in Congress for 20 YEARS NO LESS! I've posted the statement from Eric Dondero in its entirety; emphasis mine. I suggest you take the time to read the whole thing. It is a sad and pathetic story. Read my previous post on this so-called Republican and after you do that, read this: ________________________________________My name is Eric Dondero Rittberg. For 12 years I worked...

Many of you know that I help organize the Duncan Hunter "meetup" group(s). I decided to peek in at the "competition" and found it very interesting that Ron Paul supporters are being urged to attend the MoveOn.org rally.... http://ronpaul.meetup.com/1/boards/view/viewthread?thread=3421862 I post this because I know there are a lot of folks on FR that support Ron Paul.. I just wonder if you are participating in this effort.. or what you think about this whole business of catering to MoveOn.org .... quote from an active Ron Paul supporter Somebody posted a thread concerning moveon, and letting their members know about Ron...

Asterisk Free Libertarianism (The Solution Ron Paul Missed) http://www.libertyreborn.com/2007/08/24/asterisk-free-libertarianism-the-solution-ron-paul-missed/ Well, it was predictable. The talking points used by supporters of Ron Paul (i.e. Paulbots, Paulites, etc.) have now changed. You can always tell when the marching orders are given to a group by the sudden shift in the common language they use to refer to a certain situation. It’s like when Rush Limbaugh compiles montages of several media types from different organizations all using the exact same (and often obscure) term or description for an event. You know there was a memo sent out somewhere.Well the same thing has happened...
