Ron Paul supporters urged to attend MoveOn.org Rally !
RonPaul MeetUp Group ^ | 26 August 2007 | David Osborne

Posted on 08/26/2007 10:44:41 AM PDT by davidosborne

Many of you know that I help organize the Duncan Hunter "meetup" group(s). I decided to peek in at the "competition" and found it very interesting that Ron Paul supporters are being urged to attend the MoveOn.org rally....

http://ronpaul.meetup.com/1/boards/view/viewthread?thread=3421862

I post this because I know there are a lot of folks on FR that support Ron Paul.. I just wonder if you are participating in this effort.. or what you think about this whole business of catering to MoveOn.org

.... quote from an active Ron Paul supporter

Somebody posted a thread concerning moveon, and letting their members know about Ron Paul. As a member of moveon.org, I received today an invitation to create an anti-war rally on August 28th. They will be doing rallies all across the nation on that day. We should invade this event. During the rally, bring anti-war stickers, signs, and flags -- and also Ron Paul signs. Introduce moveon members to Ron Paul, the REAL anti-war candidate! Anti-war people will ask about Ron Paul and be introduced to him on that day. Don't be rude, just gently introduce people to the peace candidate. Moveon.org is well cordinated, so if enough of our people show up at their rallies, we might be able to convert a huge number of people.

I have already created a moveon.org anti-war rally, on the 28th at 7pm, right outisde of the West Covina Mall. Please, everybody who can in this group, COME. It's on the corner of Vincent and Plaza Drive in West Covina.

It gets worse. You have Ron Paul supporters at straw polls contending that Israel was behind the 9/11 attacks.

Ron Paul’s supporters are more fringe than he is.
(”With friends like that, who needs enemies?” comes to mind.)

That's because half the Ron Paul supporters on FR belong to MoveOn, and just post here to stir up trouble.

And just in case you don’t already know how big Ron Paul’s internet “campaign” is... take a look at these numbers.. also it’s not hard to figure out when you see “lopsided” internet polls.. etc.. Just an observation while doing some “oposition research”

Look what’s happening with Ron Paul 2008 Meetups!
32,458 Ron Paul Supporters in 790 Groups from 648 Cities
…and 4,887 more waiting to hear when a new Meetup starts!

GWB, here’s another prime example that you pointed out on the “Asterisk-Free Libertarian” thread. The Paul bashers are engaging in the same disinformation and smear campaign. They’d make Goebbel’s blush.

Wow, a Duncan Hunter supporter playing the guilt-by-association game.

Never mind the fact that Paul has no control over who supports him and that most of these meet-up functions are done independently outside of his campaign.

No wonder your candidate is stuck in the cellar when his desperate supporters have to attack other candidates instead of working on Hunter's behalf. No wonder why Paul is beating Hunter in both fundraising and name recognition.

LMAO!

I am by no means a Ron Paul “basher” in fact I have stated publicly that I think he is doing a great job in congress on a LOT of issues, and should keep his seat there.. but Commander in Chief?? — let’s be real... can we?

you really did not read my post.. I posted it to ASK if THE Ron Paul supporter that I quoted, share the same view as Ron Paul supporters on FR. So what you are telling me is that YOU are a RON PAUL supporter who DISAGREES with the view/opinion of these self-proclaimed “Anti-war” Rob Paul supporters?

How big is Hunter's internet campaign?

More jealousy because people won't support the establishment choices. WAAA!

So don't vote for him in the primaries then.
