BOSTON (AP) — Fighting to move beyond his father’s shadow, Sen. Rand Paul is crafting new alliances with the Republican Party establishment during a Northeast tour that began Friday in Boston. The 51-year-old Kentucky Republican, son of libertarian hero and former Texas Rep. Ron Paul, headlined an afternoon luncheon hosted by top lieutenants of former presidential nominee Mitt Romney — a private meeting that comes as Paul weighs a 2016 presidential bid of his own. To succeed in a national campaign, however, those close to Paul acknowledge that he must broaden his appeal beyond the Tea Party and libertarian-minded activists who...

An announcement from Rep. Ron Paul indicates that the Republican presidential candidate will no longer actively campaign for the GOP nomination, but will continue to work to secure delegates at upcoming Republican state conventions. "Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted," said Paul, in a statement released Monday afternoon. "Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have."

Well, I am voting for Ron Paul in the Texas primaries. He is the only way to stop Romney. Hear me out before you zot me. I really think that this is the correct call. First and foremost, we need to remove Obama from his throne. I think this should be our number one priority, and believe it or not, Ron Paul polls several points higher than Romney against Obama. I have been checking the polls, and it looks like youth and independents are flocking to Paul. Obama must go. Second, Ron Paul is 100% pro-life. This is a very...

www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com presents: Chris Duane and I talked about YouTube and personal brand building. As we discussed, neither of us is doing our shows to get rich quickly. Rather, we enjoy getting the information out. Our ultimate goal is to help you understand the current economic climate. It is truly astounding there's so many people strolling along life with absolutely no comprehension of where the economy and the world are heading. Today, YouTube/Google took down a Ron Paul channel for specious copyright infringement allegations. Google is the Federal Reserve of the internet. Without their blessing, it can quickly become impossible for...

Undaunted by a GOP primary that is effectively over, Rep. Ron Paul’s supporters are now working to take over state Republican parties and delegations to the Republican National Convention this summer. This weekend, Mr. Paul’s backers effectively captured the Alaska GOP, won the Louisiana caucuses and beat out delegates picked by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, the presumptive nominee’s home state.

Ron Paul's loyal band of supporters are just accepting now what many have known for a long time: the Texas congressman's White House bid is fading badly. Paul's poll numbers are down and he has no chance of earning the Republican nomination. He is 29 percentage points behind front-runner Mitt Romney in a poll for Tuesday's Wisconsin primary. Now, the main questions remaining are whether his followers will switch their allegiance to another candidate, and if Paul can still carry his libertarian banner into the Republican convention in August and beyond.... ...He is unlikely to drop out of the race...

Will Ron Paul be the next Republican presidential candidate to drop out of the race? Unfortunately, Ron Paul Nation, it’s looking like that. The libertarian’s recent primary showings and fundraising figures have been far from stellar, and Paul now looks like the shakiest candidate in the race. All other candidates — even the mostly down and out Newt Gingrich — still have something going for them. Paul, of course, has yet to win a state primary. Yes, he “won” the popular vote in the Virgin Islands earlier this month, but all but one of the eight delegates in that race...

About halfway through his second quest for the Republican presidential nomination, Ron Paul has yet to win a single primary or caucus state. Whenever this inconvenient truth is mentioned to his campaign aides, their first point of rebuttal typically is that the Texas congressman won the popular vote in the U.S. Virgin Islands earlier this month. He did so by netting 112 votes in the presidential straw poll there, enough to best Mitt Romney’s haul of 101 islanders, although Romney still gained seven out of the territory’s nine delegates, making it something less than an impactful victory by just about...

Does the Tea Party now support politicians who favored bailouts and the ObamaCare individual mandate? Such a statement sounds like an oxymoronic joke, about as likely as a pacifist who backs war or an atheist for Jesus. But the answer, according to exit polls from New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida primaries, is an emphatic “yes.” According to each of these exit polls, the vast majority of self-identified Tea Party supporters have backed either former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (left) or former House Speaker Newt Gingrich over anti-bailout candidates such as Texas Congressman Ron Paul, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum,...

On Friday’s broadcast of Laura Ingraham’s radio show, Rick Santorum defended his claim that his endorsement of moderate Sen. Arlen Specter in 2004 stemmed from a conversation the two had about supporting President Bush’s Supreme Court nominees. Specter had appeared on MSNBC earlier in the day and denied that he and Santorum had discussed Bush’s nominees prior to the 2004 election. “We never had any such conversation,” Specter told the network’s Chuck Todd. “It would be improper to make a commitment on a vote before I knew who the nominee was and whether I thought the nominee was qualified. I’ve...

What is behind this Alinsky-style pattern of attack? We suggest one possible answer to this riddle is Ron Paul’s principle political benefactor, globalist financier and libertarian activist for the homosexual agenda, Peter Thiel. As has been noted: Romney is the U.N. Agenda 21 candidate favored by the bankster/globalist manipulators; a very alarming, perhaps treasonous allianceRomney has a track record of strong ties to the homosexual agendaThe global governance (para-Marxist) movement is about sexual as well as socioeconomic revolutionRon Paul has numerous problematic liaisons that call his conservative persona into question For more on Thiel, see “Follow Ron Paul’s Money too: Peter...

Presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said on Sunday that opponent Mitt Romney has the best “management style” out of all of his remaining Republican contest rivals.... ...“I think he certainly would have a more acceptable management style when you consider what I have seen and experienced from the other two candidates. I don’t think they qualify there...
