MILLERSBURG, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in the heart of Ohio's Amish country say they arrested more than 70 people in a raid at a weekend party in a field that was expected to attract hundreds of Amish youth. More than 40 officers converged Saturday on the Hardy Township field after concerned parents notified the Holmes County sheriff's office of a large party expected to attract over 1,000 Amish from Ohio and neighboring states. Investigators say 73 people, including 35 juveniles, were taken into custody and charged with underage consumption of alcohol.

Brock Turner, the former Stanford University swimmer convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman outside a campus party, registered as a sex offender on Tuesday morning in his native Ohio. Turner, 21, was accompanied by his parents as he entered the Greene County sheriff's office to sign paperwork. His mother attempted to shield her sons' face from cameras with her white sweater as he filled out paperwork, which took about 20 minutes. Turner was wearing sunglasses and did not give any public remarks. ****Video of Mother Shields Brock Turner as He Registers as Sex Offender in Ohio on link**

Screaming fans in Ohio gave Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump the rock star treatment as he visited a local fairgrounds in Canfield on Labor Day. Trump and his running mate Mike Pence briefly took over the Canfield Fair on Monday as their arrival attracted scores of supporters. While Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was attempting to get through a speech in Cleveland riddled with coughing spasms, an estimated 20,000 people crowded the midway at the fair hoping to catch a glimpse of Trump, WKBN reported. A crowd had already gathered to greet Trump’s plane which landed at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in...

The old saying "the proof is in the pudding" isn't a bad bit of wisdom. That's why the advice to go see for yourself has borne up over the years. Such it was over the entire Labor Day weekend, as we drove through southern Ohio on a series of jaunts that took us through Fayette, Clinton, Highland, Adams, Clermont, Brown, and Hamilton counties along some of their major and minor highways. What I saw over the weekend really struck me. First, I saw that the hesitation to put up signs in support of Trump has apparently become passé . I...

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 2016 Presidential campaign entered the home stretch on Monday as both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump focused on the battleground state of Ohio. Meantime, the race in Indiana is all but over. Donald Trump is popular in the state and the addition of Mike Pence to the GOP ticket has made him even more popular. A new poll published by Reuters shows that Indiana is likely out of reach for Hillary Clinton. It shows Trump with 56 percent of the vote in Indiana if the election were held now. Hillary Clinton would receive just 32 percent....

Brock Turner, the Stanford rapist, was released on Friday after serving just half of his already pitiful six-month sentence for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. And people are understandably unhappy with his early release for "good behavior." In fact, some people are so unhappy that they're camping outside of Brock Turner's house in Dayton, Ohio, armed to the teeth. "HILLARY CLINTON Is Attending Cleveland Labor Day Parade – But Won’t Walk It… That Would Be Exhausting" Hillary Clinton will “participate” in the Cleveland Labor Day Parade on Monday but will not walk in the parade. That would be exhausting. That last parade was just too much. She walked about four blocks and was a sweaty mess

The incident happened during the lunch period, and the district was still working to determine how many students were involved and where the hot peppers came from, said Superintendent Brad Ritchey of Milton-Union Exempted Village Schools. Police and emergency crews were called to the school on Milton-Potsdam Road. The investigation revealed all involved students “took these peppers voluntarily,” according to police. In total, five students were taken to local hospitals and approximately 40 students — ages 11 to 14 — had ingested the peppers. “The response of emergency services was amazing; deputies and help from surrounding paramedics … we really...

Talk about a detour! Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein ended up in the wrong Ohio city Friday for an unknown reason, delaying a speech she was supposed give at a university, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Stein was slated to speak at noon at Capital University, a school in Bexley, OH, near Columbus. But there seemed to some miscommunication because the Capital University Greens Student Organization told The Dispatch that Stein flew into Cincinnati, which is about 2 hours away by car. The paper reported that there were about 100 attendees waiting at the rally site for Stein and that...

Deborah Pearl was driving to work Saturday morning through the local streets of Solon, Ohio, a Cleveland suburb so serene that Money magazine last year named it one of the top 10 places to live in the United States. It was just after 7 a.m. when the 53-year-old mother of three cruised through an intersection and a man in a sport-utility vehicle ran a red light, slamming into the driver’s side of Pearl’s Ford Taurus, police reports would later say. The intensity of the crash caused Pearl’s car to skid across the intersection and the SUV to roll several times...

You will not see this reported by the Democrat, puppet media. The American Renewal Project (ARP) is very serious about seeing that Donald Trump is elected our next president. The ARP’s leader, David Lane, reports raising $10 million in just the first week of the Project’s effort to get this job done. The Evangelical community across America has a very clear preference for the team of Trump and his running mate Mike Pence, the governor of Indiana who is a member of their community. Lane wants to harness that power to elect these men. From the earliest days of this...

August 30, 2016 - A leading Democratic political action committee is canceling ad buys in the Ohio Senate race. It's the second major group to do so as Democrats increasingly appear to be losing hope of winning back the key state. The Senate Majority PAC has already spent about $10 million in Ohio on behalf of former Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland, his single biggest source of outside support. Now the group is canceling large buys that were set to run the second week of September. That's according to an official with knowledge of the developments who requested anonymity because the...

Tom Coyne, a lifelong Democrat and the mayor of Brook Park, Ohio, spoke about his endorsement of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Matt Boyle. Coyne said: The parties are blurred. What’s the difference? They say the same things in different tones. At the end of the day, they accomplish nothing. Donald Trump is challenging the very fabric of the institutional elites in this country on both sides that have, quite frankly, just straight up screwed this country up and made the world a mess. Regarding the GOP establishment’s so-called Never Trumpers, Coyne stated, “If...
