Donald Trump's campaign is planning its biggest ad buy to date — upward of $10 million on commercials airing over the next week or so. The campaign is expects the ads to air as soon as Monday in nine swing states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida, where the campaign has already been on the air, along with New Hampshire, Virginia, Iowa, Colorado and Nevada. 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney lost eight of those nine states. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has so far been badly outspent by his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, and groups supporting her....

This video is from just six days ago at a Trump rally in Akron, Ohio. A reporter from InfoWars wanders the crowd and asks people what their party affiliation is. She finds tons of former Democrats and many independents. The other thing that’s remarkable about this video is the diversity of the crowd. Black people, whites, Hispanics, men, women, young and old are represented. Isn’t it amazing how CNN and other “news” networks are unable to see this kind of diversity at Trump events?...

“Donald Trump is tied with Hillary Clinton in Ohio, and that was before we found out that she put the secretary of state’s office up for sale like the Lincoln Bedroom was when Bill Clinton was president,” Scott said in an emailed statement. “This poll shows that independent voters are looking for an outsider like Donald Trump who is working for them – not special interests. A Cincinnati appeals court Tuesday dealt a blow to Democrats as it overturned a ruling that would have resurrected the so-called Golden Week, in which Ohioans may simultaneously register and cast a ballot. [ ] Voting 2-1, a panel of the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals held that the General Assembly’s law shortening the early vote calendar does not discriminate against particular blocs of voters. [ ] “The state election regulation at issue allows early in-person voting for 29 days before Election Day,” he wrote. “This is really quite generous. The law is facially neutral; it offers early voting...

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A condemned Ohio killer who survived a 2009 botched execution is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to declare that a second attempt to put him to death would be unconstitutional. Lawyers for death row inmate Romell Broom argue that giving the state prisons agency a second chance would amount to cruel and unusual punishment and double jeopardy. A divided Ohio Supreme Court rejected Broom's arguments in March. Broom's attorneys appealed that ruling earlier this month to the U.S. Supreme Court and filed notice of that appeal on Monday with the state court. The state stopped Broom's execution...

The Monmouth poll found Trump down by 4 percentage points and Portman ahead by 8. The new Monmouth survey is in line with the...
