Saturday evening was an occasion for visiting some old friends who live in lower Manhattan, just a couple of garbage bag throws from Zuccotti Park, ground zero of the “Occupy Wall Street” squatter encampment. SAN DIEGO (AP) -- San Diego police on Friday used pepper spray to break up a human chain formed by anti-Wall Street demonstrators at a downtown plaza where they've camped for a week. Police in the early morning began removing about a half-dozen tents after warning demonstrators their personal belongings couldn't stay in the Occupy San Diego camp. BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Coast Guard in Boston confirmed that a woman in uniform was harassed and spat upon near Occupy Boston protesters. The woman was walking to the train and said protesters spit on her twice, called her foul names and even threw a water bottle at her. College students across the country are preparing for Thursday's national day of protests in unity with the Occupy Wall Street movement. As of Wednesday evening, 90 colleges were confirmed for Occupy College's "National Student Solidarity Protest," according to the group's website. Natalia Abrams, a spokeswoman and facilitator for the group, expects the number to surpass 100.
