The partys over!
The citys top cop said today that the Occupy Wall Street protesters who clear out of Zuccotti Park tomorrow so their filthy makeshift campsite can get a much-needed cleaning can come back when the job is finished -- but they cant take their tents, coolers and other gear with them.
People will have to remove all their belongings and leave the park, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said, After its cleaned, theyll be able to come back. But they wont be able to bring back the gear, the sleeping bags, that sort of thing will not be able to be brought back into the park. (My emphasis.)

Much as we don't like Bloomie here, I've got to hand it to him on this one. He let the pustule fester until it ripened fully, just like a really juicy zit. Now he's squeezing it and the core and all the pus will come shoting out. By treating Occupy Wall Street as a sanitation, not a political, problem he gives the hippies the ultimate insult, stripping them of whatever political legitimacy and/or martyrdom they may have had and treating them like the filthy vermin they are. Imagine what would hve happened to the Tea Party movement if our demonstrations had to be terminated by the authorities because they presented a clear and present danger to public hygene and good health.
The other cool thing is Bloomie's not going to let the putrescent subnuman vermin bring their gear, including food service equipment, back into the park, thereby deepriving them of the ability to use it successfully as a base of operations. Best of all, it's being done for legitimate sanitation reasons, not political ones.

This will not make the cry babies happy - the one thing they can’t stand is being told what to do (although they reserve the right to tell the rest of us what to do).

Might have been smarter to announce that tidbit AFTER removing and dispersing the crowd. There's going to be fireworks.

Humilate, trivialize, and banish.

We will get what we want. A violent reaction from the Left. The Democrats were banking on this movement being good for them but they made the mistake of allowing anarchists and communists to get in the wire.

Yes, not a bad way to handle it. But I think I’ll wait and see what actually happens. It’s one thing to say it; it’s another to actually do it.

Fireworks on a Friday, how perfect for a coming Friday Afternoon News Dump. Add in a bombing of Iran and it would be a perfect time for Holder to resign.

They should a strong smelling disinfectant on all the benches and walkways and then not rinse very well.

From their little FaceBook page:
Mayor Bloomberg announced that tomorrow morning, he’s evacuating Zucotti Park for “cleaning” - Be warned, this is a tactic that Bloomberg has used to shut down protests in the past, and a tactic used recently in similar protests throughout Europe.
WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN. THE OCCUPY WALL STREET MOVEMENT IS GROWING. STAND WITH US AT 6 AM TOMORROW TO DEFEND THE PARK.
Community organizations, Labor, and NYC residents are banding together to flock to Zucotti Park, to show solidarity with #OccupyWallStreet.
YES. WE KNOW IT’S EARLY. COME AS EARLY AS YOU CAN. OUR TIME IS NOW, AND KEEPING THE MOVEMENT ALIVE IS PARAMOUNT.
