Franklin Graham, the evangelist and son of Billy Graham, gave sharply different answers Tuesday when asked whether he believed Rick Santorum and Barack Obama were Christians. Graham, the CEO and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, also declined to say on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” whether he thought Mitt Romney was a Christian. He weighed in at length on the candidates and their faith: * ON OBAMA: “You have to ask him. I cannot answer that question for anybody. All I know is I’m a sinner, and God has forgiven me of my sins… You have to ask every person....

COLUMBUS, Ohio — White House candidate Rick Santorum on Saturday questioned President Barack Obama’s Christian values and attacked GOP rival Mitt Romney’s Olympics leadership as he courted tea party activists and evangelical voters in Ohio, “ground zero” in the 2012 nomination fight. Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator known for his social conservative policies, said that Obama’s agenda is “not about you. It’s not about your quality of life. It’s not about your jobs. It’s about some phony ideal. Some phony theology. Not a theology based on the Bible. A different theology.” Obama campaign deputy press secretary Ben Labolt said Santorum’s...

Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey (Ga.) walked out of President Obama's speech at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, his spokesman confirmed to The Hill. Jen Talaber said the five-term lawmaker "left quietly" in the middle of the president's remarks. “He was disturbed and offended by the president’s use of prayer and reflection time for partisan politics and class warfare,” Talaber said. “Rep. Gingrey enjoyed listening to the keynote speaker and found the breakfast to be inspiring until President Obama began politicking.” At the breakfast, Obama tried to tie some of the proposals from his State of the Union address, such...

The president was wearing a navy blue polo shirt and khakis, while the three Obama women wore sleeveless dresses. T

Obama—But Not Jesus By Terence P. Jeffrey December 19, 2011 (CNSNews.com) - The 63-foot Sierra White Fir that was lighted on Dec. 6 as the official U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree includes a prominently displayed ornament paying homage to President Barack Obama, but includes no ornament readily visible to a person standing near the tree's base that uses the word “Christmas,” or includes an image of the Nativity, or bears the name or image of Jesus Christ. On the north side of the tree--at a height of about 4 feet and easily visible to people standing near it---there is an ornament...

Just in time for the "holiday season," Barack Hussein Obama has apparently found Jesus. More likely, he read the most recent presidential approval poll, which indicated that his weakest demographic is composed of those who attend church regularly and, conversely, that his strongest is composed of those who don't.

President Barack Obama Wednesday said even God wanted to put Americans back to work, invoking divine blessing for his joust with Republicans over measures designed to slice into high unemployment. Obama also taunted his foes with historic arguments in favor of repairing vital infrastructure once made by conservative icon Ronald Reagan, as he stumped for a $60 billion infrastructure bill being taken up by the Senate. The president rebuked the House of Representatives for passing a bill reaffirming the US motto "In God We Trust" rather than getting to work on his stalled $447 billion jobs program. "That's not putting...

Americans more skeptical of Obama’s ‘God talk’ than Rick Perry’s Kate Shellnutt September 19, 2011 Ahead of the 2012 elections, it’s not just Gov. Rick Perry and the GOP candidates who are mentioning God.Facing declining approval ratings, President Barack Obama too is ‘ramping up his God talk,’ a group of political scientists told USA Today’s Faith & Reason blog.Americans are more likely to believe Perry than Obama, who people continue to suspect is Muslim, despite his Christian affiliation, they said.Obama has recently quoted Bible verses and echoed the refrain of “God Bless America” during 9/11 memorials. From the post: Voters think...

Just when I thought the current team running the White House might have used up all its allotted mistakes comes word that President Obama failed to issue either an Easter or a Good Friday greeting to the nation. Now, let’s forget for a moment that these greetings, which presidents issue on many holidays and commemorations of events, are largely perfunctory and symbolic gestures that nobody cares about. Until there’s a problem with them. Fox News first caught the blunder and put it into context that makes the omission insulting to Christians. The mistake is odd enough to call into question...

EXCERPT: Barack Hussein Obama ignored Easter yesterday. He issued no statements of any kind, no “Happy Easter”, no nothing. By comparison he has issued glowing, effusive statements of praise for each and every Muslim holiday since he took office. Hasn’t missed one of them. So it is quite interesting that yesterday as believers celebrated the Risen Lord Jesus around the the globe, that the God of Heaven who controls the wind and the weather chose to strike the White House with lightning. White House press secretary Jay Carney was asked today why President Obama did not give a statement on Easter. He laughed it off. Barack Obama released statements for the Muslims holidays of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, the Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha last year. Just last month he released a statement for the Persian Nowruz holiday. The Hill has more: Carney also scoffed at media reports calling out the White House for not releasing a statement commemorating Easter on Sunday, explaining Obama and his family attended church services in Washington. “The president went to church yesterday, it was well-covered. I’m not sure if we...

SNIP This year the Obamas chose Shiloh Baptist Church — one of the oldest African-American congregations in the city, according to the White House — for their Easter service, drawing applause from members decked out in Sunday suits and fancy dresses. The president declined the pastor’s invitation to speak, but a little bit of politics did slip in: the man who led the church in prayers, when mentioning the Obama family, said: “Lord, they’re going to need you for the next six year.” Shouts of “Oh yeah” followed that intercession. President Barack Obama and his family marked Easter Sunday by attending a service at an African-American baptist church in Washington, standing to clap the 120-strong choir. Obama and his wife Michelle brought their daughters Malia, 12, and Sasha, 9, to the service at Shiloh Baptist Church, to massive applause from worshippers.

Long before the sun rose over the Shiloh Baptist Church, people were passing through metaldetectors at the historic African American congregation where President Barack Obama and his family will celebrate Easter. [Snip] Rev. Wallace Charles Smith, in the church's program, said, "We are honored to welcome to our 10 a.m. Easter service President Barack Obama, First LadyMichelle Obama, and daughters Malia and Sasha. Shiloh prays for the first family every Sunday and we thank God for the wonderful inspiration they provide to our nation." [Snip] The 3,000-member D.C. congregation [was] started by freed slaves.

Republican Presidential Candidate Herman Cain told Greta Van Susteren tonight, “When the President of the United States leaves out three times on purpose “endowed by their creator” something’s wrong. And, that’s what social conservatives and others are pushing back on.” Herman Cain says our culture is being attacked as well as our economy being destroyed. http://gatewaypundit.rightnetwork.com/2011/03/herman-cain-when-president-leaves-out-3-times-on-purpose-endowed-by-their-creator-somethings-wrong-video/

I used to believe Obama was a Muslim. I also believed he overtly meant America harm as well as the Israelis. I didn't believe these things for bigoted reasons. I just worry about the safety of my country which ensures the safety of people of all races and ensures any hope for peace for future generations. The real problem is that Obama offers little in area of transparency. However, to be intellectually honest, I don't have a shred of proof that Obama is currently a practicing Muslim and I don't wish to spread that idea. I don't have any proof...

President Obama‘s coddling of Islam has many Americans questioning his national-security judgment, if not his intentions. In his administration’s muddled response to the crisis in Egypt, one clear message came from all the president’s men: A new government in Cairo “has to include a whole host of important nonsecular actors,” as stated by White House spokesman Robert L. Gibbs. The hitch is that in the Middle East, nonsecular means radical Islamist, like the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, in the middle of this global clash of civilizations, Mr. Obama‘s own religious disposition is being questioned – and not from the right, but...

President Obama and the first family will join D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray to worship at the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church in Northwest during a service that will reflect on the spiritual fervor of Martin Luther King Jr. Last year the president delivered a major address the Sunday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Districts Vermont Avenue Baptist Church where King spoke when he was alive.
