Hint of Politics Creeps In To Rare Obama Church Appearance

This year the Obamas chose Shiloh Baptist Church — one of the oldest African-American congregations in the city, according to the White House — for their Easter service, drawing applause from members decked out in Sunday suits and fancy dresses.

The president declined the pastor’s invitation to speak, but a little bit of politics did slip in: the man who led the church in prayers, when mentioning the Obama family, said: “Lord, they’re going to need you for the next six year.”

Shouts of “Oh yeah” followed that intercession.

Black unemployment is up about 35% under Obama. It's about 15% now with black youth unemployment around 50%. Obama's killed the recovery, driven up gas prices and brought about inflation. For the life of me I just can't figure out why so many blacks still support Obama when the majority of the country doesn't.

Look at the education of most blacks. Most are still democrats who vote to keep entitlements. They are simply slaves with the old democrat party who kept them as slaves and without rights to vote after the civil war. Most simply refuse to budge off the Plantation.

Quite true. My prayer is that Obama will turn away from his Muslim faith and embrace Christ. He will then need the Lord for much more than six years. Happily for the rest of us, though, only two more of those years will be spent as President.
