I don't believe Obama is a Muslim
2/18/2011 | Self

Posted on 02/18/2011 10:08:15 AM PST by TheThinker

I used to believe Obama was a Muslim. I also believed he overtly meant America harm as well as the Israelis. I didn't believe these things for bigoted reasons. I just worry about the safety of my country which ensures the safety of people of all races and ensures any hope for peace for future generations.

The real problem is that Obama offers little in area of transparency. However, to be intellectually honest, I don't have a shred of proof that Obama is currently a practicing Muslim and I don't wish to spread that idea. I don't have any proof that he deliberately wants to harm the United States either. It's just frusrating to see America is such a terrible state, saddled with a leader unwilling to listen and truly engage his countrymen, while the boat we are sitting in takes in more water and there are people scooping water into the boat.

I do know for sure that I don't wish any harm to be done to Obama and with the Gabriel Giffords shooting, Democrats are rightly worried that the charged political speech might possibly encourage more violence. Granted, I think shootings from the right side of the spectrum are not likely but that doesn't mean others won't be inspired. When she gets back on her feet, she'll have a lot to say about the subject so I think it's time to tone it down, to self-regulate what we say.

Sarah Palin is right when she says that the Muslim issue is annoying and distracting. One thing that is important to America's safety is unity. Unity is important as long as it is based on the idea to promote the freedom and advancement of the individual rather than increasing the power of the federal government over the individual. The type of unity we need seems nowhere in sight.

Americans simply aren't on the same page because too many Americans don't have even a basic grasp of our history and the true moral worth of their country, which compared to other countries is exceptional. What too many forget is that America has had greater challenges than other countries in trying to reconcile its ideals with its actions.

Although I don't believe Obama's policies are intentionally destructive, I do believe they are reckless and destructive nonetheless. But Obama really doesn't diverge that much from other liberal politicians on the issues. We have been on the same path for some time and that path is going downhill. We have to reverse ourselves on spending. There's only so much wealth created and to allow government to regulate that wealth is a recipe for disaster. We have to work to regain our sovereignty. It's back to basics.

The political atmosphere is reaching a fever pitch in my opinion. If some crazy decides try to harm the president, there will be an upheaval in this country. We don't need it. I say we should go after Obama's policies with all the energy used to attack him personally, because I think Obama's safety and America's safety are intertwined.

You're joking, right?

His personal religious beliefs are of no political consequence.

However, since Islam has a political as well as a religious side, if he consistently votes for the Islamic position, then he is politically a Muslim.

He may not be a practicing religions Muslim. But he’s definitely a cultural Muslim. That’s why one of his mentors, the doddering old fool Jimmy Carter, isn’t lying in his mind when he speaks of the Muslim Brotherhood as a secular organization. In his demented mind, the secular and religious practices of Islam are separate. We mere Americans are just too dense to understand the subtle differences.

Obama may or not be a Muslim.

Obama may or may not be a United States citizen.

But Obama is not an American.

He’s an atheistic Secular Humanist with a burning antipathy toward traditional Christianity and a deep, pervasive and profound cultural and emotional love for and identity with Islam. More than anything, though, he’s a Malignant Narcissist who embraces Marxism, anti-Colonialism and a deeply ingrained and blindly bigoted dislike of white people in general.

Democrats are rightly worried that the charged political speech might possibly encourage more violence.

Get your head outta the sand and unplug your ears. Just exactly who do you think it is "charging" the speech and inciting and acting with violence? Don't fall for the "both sides need to slow down" myth the Left tries to drum up whenever they find themselves losing public support.

Islam doesn’t have sides....Islam is a totalitarian fascist ideology counterfeiting a face of religion in order to keep their masses in check...has nothing to do with “religion” it’s all one mass of control and submission...and they intend to bring it to the world.

“Democrats are rightly worried that the charged political speech might possibly encourage more violence.”

Really? Then why do they keep up with their own highly charged brand of vicious personal attacks, even to the point of making physical threats or allusions to them, against conservatives? The Tea Party?

Disingenuous doesn't even begin to describe this argument.

As far as him being Muslim or not, it's Obama’s liberal policies that are bankrupting this country. And it's his policies, not him personally, that conservatives want to be rid of.

Is it me or does it seem like you are trying to inflame the very situation you claim to be so concerned about?

Please. Put down the Kool-aid.

Because RINO'S and the libeal MSM ignored the fundamental issues like Barry's birth certificate and his muslim beliefs, we are now in grave danger.

You want to focus on the economy and the safety of America and blah, blah blah?

Great. But first you gotta address the 50 ton elephant in the middle of the room. And until Palin, Congress,, SCOTUS, and all 50 states begin to speak about the Fraudster - nothing else will get done.
