The publisher of The New York Times penned a letter to readers Friday promising that the paper would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election while rededicating itself to reporting on “America and the world” honestly.

Why I finally canceled my New York Times subscription By John Crudele October 12, 2016 | 10:23pm The other day, I canceled my subscription to the New York Times. The paper’s circulation department says I’ve been getting it delivered to my home for 10 years, but I think it has been much longer. [snip] This last example is perhaps the most egregious. Another leaked email from Palmieri on July 8, 2015, is a discussion with John Podesta, the Clinton campaign chairman, and others about a Times story on the costs of some of Hillary’s policies. Palmieri writes: “I wanted to...

The Gray Lady feels the agony of political defeat — in her reputation and in her wallet. After taking a beating almost as brutal as Hillary Clinton’s, the New York Times on Friday made an extraordinary appeal to its readers to stand by her...

[photograph is sexually crude photoshop?] Donald J. Trump’s victory in the presidential race on Tuesday night capped a remarkable election in which several Democratic Senate candidates fell short and Republicans retained their majority in the House of Representatives. Here are some key takeaways from a stunning result that upended conventional expectations and set the stage for a drastic reordering of politics in Washington:

NYT now puts Trump's chances of winning the presidency at 58% (this is not scientific, so take it with a grain of salt, but still):

This is my last column until after the election, so I’d like to address the people least likely to read it: Donald Trump voters. Who knows? Maybe I’ll get lucky and a few of them will buy fish wrapped in this column, and they’ll accidentally peruse it! Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The NYT, in trying to clean up for Hillary and act as if she is distancing from Huma even if she isn’t, is diving into the sexual scandals engulfing Anthony Weiner, and spreading the scandals around. They even cited the email after midnight in which Hillary tells Huma to knock on her door if it’s closed “for a chat.” Lol — “for a chat”? How do they know?? How do they know why Huma came to Hillary’s bedroom after midnight? It could have been to give her pyridium, but they had to tell us rubes that it was “for a...

The New York Times produced another hit piece on guns, pushing for some sort of general increase in the current infringements on the Second Amendment. At Reason.com, Brian Doherty did a good job of taking apart much of the bias and ignorance displayed in the article. The Reason.com article is worth reading, and I recommend it. A fair amount can be summed up in these two paragraphs. From the nytimes.com: The findings are dispiriting to anyone hoping for simple legislative fixes to gun violence. In more than half the 130 cases, at least one assailant was already barred by...

Just in time for Halloween, the Paper of Record published a seven-year-old’s nightmare sure to send chills down the spine of many Hillary Clinton supporters: Out of nowhere, Donald Trump appeared. That alone may scare even the most intrepid New York Times reporter, but it gets worse: this isn’t “bad-hair Donald,” this is “zombie” Donald, and he’s going from house to house evicting Muslims and throwing them in jail. The dream was described to the paper by a seven-year-old Muslim girl living in New York City’s “whitest” borough, Staten Island. She reportedly had the nightmare after watching the second presidential...

Is anyone at the New York Times pro-life? Times reporter Yamiche Alcindor won’t say. On today’s Hardball, discussion turned to Donald Trump’s charge that the media elites are biased against him. Conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt posited that 90% of the Manhattan/Beltway elite will be voting for Hillary and applauding her election. To test Hewitt’s theory, Chris Matthews asked Alcindor whether she knew anybody at the Times who was pro-life. She first responded, “I’m not going to answer that question.” To his credit, Matthews pressed the question, but Alcindor continued to dodge, eventually saying she hadn’t asked any of her co-workers...

Donald Trump has virtually stopped trying to win this election by any conventional metric and is instead stacking logs of grievance on the funeral pyre with the great anticipation of setting it ablaze if current polls turn out to be predictive. There is something calamitous in the air that surrounds the campaign, a hostile fatalism that bespeaks a man convinced that the end is near and aiming his anger at all within reach.

Correction Appended Note to Readers Appended WASHINGTON — Early in Senator John McCain’s first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers. A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, visiting his offices and accompanying him on a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of...

Then we find out that The Times also used a similar scheme to avoid paying federal taxes too. Which kind of makes them hypocrites, right? Now we discover that none other than Hillary Clinton herself also used a federal tax break in 2015 to claim a loss and avoid paying taxes.
