While visiting Australia, outspoken warmonger Sen. John McCain told ABC TV that Russia is a bigger security threat than Islamic State, based on its willingness to challenge the democratic foundations of the U.S. by interfering in elections. The visit to Australia by the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee was part of an Asia tour to outline a blueprint for the U.S. to invest nearly $8 billion bulking up its military presence in the region by upgrading infrastructure, conducting additional exercises and deploying more forces and ships. Mr. McCain’s visit also was aimed at reassuring allies about U.S. willingness...

Former FBI Director James Comey acted on key information created by Russian intelligence in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails that he knew to be fake, CNN reported Friday. Unidentified officials told CNN that Comey feared that if the information became public it would undermine the investigation as well as the Justice Department itself. The false information reportedly spurred the then-FBI chief to publicly declare last summer that the investigation into Clinton’s emails was over. Meanwhile, Comey also said that Clinton had been “extremely careless” in her handling of classified information.

House Speaker Paul Ryan defended fired FBI Director James Comey, saying the longtime law enforcement official President Trump sacked wasn’t crazy. Asked about a report that Trump told top Russian officials that Comey was a “nut job” in a meeting the day after firing the FBI director, Ryan disagreed. “Yeah, I don’t agree with that. And he’s not,” Ryan said at an Axios panel discussion. He also went further, saying “I like Jim Comey.” […] Ryan also commented on Trump calling him a boy scout. “I took it as a compliment. I’m not sure it was meant that way. We’re...

Mike Allen sat down with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at this morning's Axios News Shapers event. Toplines: He says tax reform will get done in 2017, doesn't know the timing on infrastructure, disagrees with Trump on Comey and thinks the GOP can keep the House in 2018.

There is an additional exposé on James Comey which presents an ironclad case against him for dereliction of duty, obstruction of justice and official misconduct as follows: DETAILING THE COMMISSION OF COMEY CRIMES State of the Nation May 18, 2017 Subject: Dropping the Hammer on Comey…Brilliant! There are very few crime/mystery novels that approach this true story for compelling drama, intrigue and brinkmanship (with the nation in the balance). Don’t believe the fake-media story that Trump made a mistake or huge gaffe by firing Comey. Don’t believe the media narrative from the left that it was an attempt to silence...

Former FBI Director James Comey now believes that President Donald Trump was trying to influence his judgment about the Russia probe, a person familiar with his thinking says, but whether that influence amounts to obstruction of justice remains an open question.

President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting. “I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.” The conversation, during a May 10 meeting — the day after he fired Mr. Comey — reinforces...

Monday on PBS’s “Charlie Rose” radio talk show host ‪Glenn Beck declared Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to be a sociopath. When asked what the indication is that Trump is a sociopath, Beck said, “Have you seen him during the last year and half truly feel for someone that couldn’t help him? Truly connect on a human level and say, ‘This has made me stop. This has made me think. You know I’m deeply sorry for what I have said.’... He added Trump is, “frightening, frightening.”

In his latest video commentary of GQ magazine, Keith Olbermann weighed on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s refusal to say he would absolutely accept the outcome of November’s general election. Trump told moderator Chris Wallace at the final presidential debate he would have to wait and see if he would accept those results, to which Olbermann said was “the moral equivalent of treason.” “This is the moral equivalent of treason,” Olbermann declared.

A University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student had a serious complaint for his campus’ official “Hate Response Team”: he was “very upset” by a Harry Potter mural in a college dorm. The mural, in the Laux Residence Hall, depicts Neville Longbottom, a character from the Harry Potter films. The nerdy Neville was played by actor Matthew Lewis, who blossomed into a notable hunk post-puberty. The mural shows him as both a geeky boy and an attractive young man — transformed, according to the mural’s caption, by a stay at the Laux Residence Hall itself. The depiction of this metamorphosis “represents our...

Director Oliver Stone opened up about his forthcoming Edward Snowden biopic Snowden in a recent interview, and called most Hollywood war movies “bullsh*t” — thanks to the CIA. “What you’re seeing is bullsh*t. And a lot of the war pictures you see, you don’t get, you know, you get it after the Pentagon has sanitized it. And they lie. They lie. As long as it is pro-American, that’s all that matters,” the three-time Oscar-winner said during an August 26 interview at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. Stone says “the Pentagon has taken over. CIA has taken over...

The former UCLA doctoral student who killed a professor in an apparent murder-suicide had a "kill list" that included the name of a woman found dead in Minnesota, as well as another UCLA instructor, the Los Angeles police chief said. Chief Charlie Beck told the KTLA television station that a victim was found shot to death in Minnesota after authorities found information in Mainak Sarkar's home that led them to her. "That person was shot," Beck said. "The connection is very strong. We still have to do the various ballistic tests ... but it's very strong." "It was a list...

The U.S. intelligence community was responsible for usurping Europeans' right to self-government, in an effort to impose what Obama recently called “one of the greatest political and economic achievements of modern times.” As British voters prepare to vote on secession from the European Union super-state, the Obama administration's bizarre intervention to support the pro-EU side has sparked a fresh examination of the shadowy origins of the controversial European regime. Under scrutiny is the critical backing the EU and its predecessor outfits received at every step of the way from top globalists within the U.S. government, and in particular from the...

For those of us who remember bits and pieces of Greek mythology, or who play lots of role playing video games, a Chimera was a monstrous hybrid creature often depicted as part lion, part goat, and part snake. In today’s world however Chimeras are very real and in this writer’s humble opinion, very disturbing. The word Chimera today refers most often to animals that are gene spliced with other animals creating a kind of hybrid species. As if this attempt at playing God isn’t alarming enough, human cells are being added to pigs, sheep, goats, mice, and other animals that...
