Former FBI Director James Comey acted on key information created by Russian intelligence in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails that he knew to be fake, CNN reported Friday.
Unidentified officials told CNN that Comey feared that if the information became public it would undermine the investigation as well as the Justice Department itself.
The false information reportedly spurred the then-FBI chief to publicly declare last summer that the investigation into Clinton’s emails was over. Meanwhile, Comey also said that Clinton had been “extremely careless” in her handling of classified information.

- No one ever "acts" on intelligence they knew was fake. Ever.
- One can seem to act on false information as an act of deception or ruse.
The only questions are: who was the audience of the ruse, and what where the intended effects?

Supposedly in this evidence pile was a letter from DWS to Bernaldo, Soros Rep, assuring him Comey/Lynch would not be recommending indictment for HRC.

Makes it sound like Russia created something fake but the gist of the story is they did not? And someone else created a fake document trying to pass it off as Russian?

Looks to me like Comey uncovered “emails between then-Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and a Clinton campaign operative suggesting that Lynch would make the FBI investigation of Clinton go away”, and then decided to claim the email evidence was fake planted by Russians.
They keep trying to spin it that Comey wasn’t acting as a partisan hack or a fool, but what is actually known seen is that Comey is certainly one or the other, or perhaps both.
