I buy almost all my food at the farmer's market and I am fortunate that I live near several different weekend markets. One reason I do this is that I like to support small businesses like farms. CNN gave us a useful Christmas present this morning, albeit a presumably unintentional one. A gift that, in the starkest terms, demonstrated the network’s liberal bias. CNN presented its “Naughty and Nice” lists for 2017. On her MSNBC show today, Joy Reid touted a book authored by a writer for Stephen Colbert’s show that depicts Santa as being black and gay, with a white husband. In a revealing moment, Reid said: “the reality is, as crazy as I am, if I can find a husband, Santa can too.” Beyond the gender-bending, Reid also had a purely political message for kids. FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe actually showed up for his scheduled testimony before the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday, against all odds. He was questioned for 8 hours by committee members, and in what has to rank as one of the great upsets in U.S. political history, none of that testimony has been leaked to CNN, the NYTimes or the WaPo as of this writing.
