Former President Donald Trump is poised to secure a significant electoral victory, potentially “sweeping battleground states,” according to Rasmussen’s head pollster, who sees the current race favoring Trump in the national popular vote, suggesting a larger “political realignment” is underway, and foreseeing an outcome that could echo — or even exceed — Ronald Reagan’s historic landslide win over Jimmy Carter in 1980. In a striking forecast days before the 2024 presidential election, Rasmussen’s head pollster, Mark Mitchell, is suggesting that Donald Trump will secure a strong lead nationally and dominate in key battleground states, positioning him for a sweeping victory....

New Hampshire has barely been mentioned in this presidential race, but a recent bump in Donald Trump's polling suggests the Republican is reversing his opponent's comfortable lead and could even flip the state in a dramatic upset on Tuesday. In Concord, the state capital, GOP organizers have run out of Trump yard signs due to unexpected demand. In Pelham, scores of locals turned out to wave Trump flags, blast out rock anthems and feast on pizza and cookies on Wednesday night. Down the road, motorists honked horns and stopped to take photos of a home-made yard sign presenting Vice President...

Amid signs that former President Donald Trump is slowly gaining momentum in the race for the White House, a new New Hampshire Journal/Praecones Analytica poll released Sunday night finds he’s leading Vice President Kamala Harris in the Granite State. Trump’s slim 50.2 to 49.8 percent lead is insignificant, well within the margin of error. But the fact that Trump, who’s lost the Granite State twice, is leading in a state Democrats carried in seven of the last eight presidential races, could be very significant. It’s one of a series of indicators that the Trump campaign is expanding the field of...

Former President Donald Trump has the momentum in the presidential race right now. He's erased Kamala Harris's leads in the RealClearPolitics national polling average and is winning in all of the battleground states. Such momentum at this point in the race is huge, and some believe that he can expand the electoral map. And sure enough, another blue state appeared to show signs that Trump is very much in play there. The latest New Hampshire Journal/Praecones Analytica poll released Sunday night shows him narrowly leading Harris in the Granite State. Trump’s lead stands at 50.2 to 49.8 percent. Is it...

A New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice has been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly trying to interfere in an open investigation of her husband. In an Oct. 16 statement from the New Hampshire Department of Justice, Attorney General John Formella said the Merrimack County grand jury had indicted Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi for two felonies and five misdemeanors. All the charges relate to her alleged attempts to interfere with a criminal investigation into her husband, Geno Marconi. “The decision to charge a sitting Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court was not made lightly, and it comes after...

Former President Donald Trump has made gains in 19 states in the past week, according to a major election forecast. Pollster Nate Silver's forecast shows that the Republican presidential nominee has made marginal gains in six swing states during the past week and in Florida, Texas and New Mexico. Trump has also made gains in New Hampshire, California, Montana, Washington, Massachusetts, Indiana, Missouri, Maryland, Rhode Island and Nebraska, including in its 2nd Congressional District. Nebraska does not use the "winner takes all" system for awarding Electoral College votes. Two votes are awarded to the winner of the statewide popular vote,...

Sometimes people can take the entire idea of complying with ridiculous government mandates several bridges too far. That appears to have been the case during a recent sporting event held in New Hampshire. A girls' soccer game was scheduled between Plymouth Regional High School and their rival Bow High School. Bow High School was fielding a boy who "identifies" as a girl to compete, but when the Plymouth Regional parents heard about this, they asked the Bow High athletic director to withdraw the boy from the roster. He refused, saying that "his hands were tied" by a federal ruling allowing...

The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire issued a formal statement on Monday addressing a since-deleted comment made over the weekend, which suggested that the “murder” of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris would be considered heroic. On Sunday morning, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire reportedly posted on X, “Anyone who murders Kamala Harris would be an American hero.” The post quickly gained attention both within and beyond New Hampshire and has since been covered by state, national, and international media. It also drew immediate criticism from Chris Ager, chair of the New Hampshire Republican Party, as well as from the...

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Rescuers freed an 11-year-old boy who slipped between two boulders near his school and was trapped for more than nine hours, a New Hampshire fire chief said Monday. The boy was pried out of the boulders in Windsor at about 3:15 a.m. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation and released, according to the Wediko School, where the boy is a student. “On Sunday evening, while under supervision, a student exploring a rocky area on campus slipped between two boulders when sticks and debris gave way beneath them,” the school, a residential treatment center for...

Last week, two polls revealed that the Virginia election is a tight race within the margin of error. Roanoke College poll showed Kamala Harris leading Trump by just three points, a finding echoed by Quantus poll with the same narrow margin. Virginia, a traditionally blue state that last went Republican in the 2004 presidential election, was looking like a potential Trump pickup before Biden dropped out, however conventional wisdom was that with Kamala Harris topping the ticket, Virginia was no longer in play. That's clearly not true. Is another blue state that looked good for Trump before Biden dropped out...

he top abortion provider in northern New England claimed in a virtual press conference last week that a projected deficit in revenue will require “significant financial support to continue offering its lifesaving health care services.” Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE), which provides abortions and contraceptives in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, painted a grim picture of its financial status, explaining in an accompanying press release that the organization is “facing a projected financial deficit of $8.6 million over the next three years,” a situation that may require it to “change how and where it offers services.” PPNNE’s spokespersons...

Vice President Harris leads former President Trump by 6 points in New Hampshire ahead of their expected November match-up, two separate surveys found. According to a poll released Thursday by the University of New Hampshire’s Survey Center, Harris, who announced her candidacy just this week after President Biden bowed out of the race Sunday, is leading Trump in the Granite State 49 percent to 43 percent. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earned 4 percent support, and 3 percent of respondents said they aren’t sure. In a two-way contest between Harris and Trump, her lead increases slightly; 53 percent said...

GOFFSTOWN, N.H. - A new poll in New Hampshire shows Vice President Kamala Harris is six points ahead of former President Donald Trump in the battleground state. The survey of more than 2,000 registered New Hampshire voters by Saint Anselm College took place on July 24-25, after Harris secured enough delegate support to become the likely Democratic presidential nominee. Harris leads Trump 50% to 44% in the poll. A poll taken by Saint Anselm in June after President Biden struggled in the debate showed Trump edging out Biden in New Hampshire by two points. "With President Joe Biden bowing out...

...but I was wrong. I was dead wrong on that. So, much has changed, right? I think a lot of us assume that the trials would have some impact. It didn't. The trials of Donald Trump have been so mishandled by the Democrats, both in terms of communication, the reality, you know, of each of the trials, Jack Smith screwing the Mar-a-Lago trial up, the Fani Willis and all the shenanigans going on in Georgia, all the issues that happened with, you know, Trump's trial, it's not hurting his poll numbers at all because the Democrats and -- is --...

Gov. Chris Sununu (R) signed legislation on July 12 blocking credit card companies from tracking firearm and firearm-related sales in New Hampshire. By signing the legislation, HB 1186, Sununu secured New Hampshire as the 17th state in which credit cards cannot track such sales. The NRA-ILA reported: firearms, ammunition, or firearm accessories, and provides a civil penalty for violations. This critical legislation protects gun-owners privacy and ensures that bad actors cannot use credit and debit card transactions to create a gun-registry or block cardholders from making gun-related purchase.

CONCORD, NH—New Hampshire State Representative Wendy E. Thomas has raised the possibility that President Joe Biden might be suffering from long COVID, rather than the widely speculated dementia. Thomas, who is a staunch supporter of Biden, shared her thoughts on social media, noting similarities between her own experiences with long COVID and the President’s current health speculations. Thomas explained that during her bout with long COVID, she faced challenges such as difficulty reading, retrieving words, and short-term memory loss. She suggested that what some are attributing to dementia in President Biden could potentially be symptoms of long COVID instead. Her...

EXETER, N.H. — Brendan DuBois, a 64-year-old New England man who is an award-winning American fiction and suspense writer, was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of child pornography, according to Exeter police. Exeter police said they opened an investigation into DuBois in March, working in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. Police said a search warrant was later executed, and an arrest warrant was issued for DuBois, a town resident. Police said DuBois turned himself in to the Exeter Police Department on Wednesday. According to police, DuBois faces six felony complaints of possession of child pornography. He...

Who knew that the “despotic inroads on the rights of property” referenced by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in their grotesque work of political ideology (The Communist Manifesto) against property owners would mean devaluation of said property through government policy? The obvious implication was physical violence, as the authors describe “wresting” away capital and wealth, and taxation, as state-sponsored theft is a given for non-producing and envious failures like Marx, but as we’ve seen time and again, the left’s policies also rob from us by devaluing the properties in which we invest. Here’s the latest example, out of New Hampshire, via a...

A family in Concord, New Hampshire, is at a loss of what to do about a growing homeless encampment that is directly behind their historic house. Robin Bach and her husband have worked hard to restore their 19th century Walker residence for their children, ages 8 and 11, to enjoy for years to come, the Concord Monitor reported Saturday. However, there is an expanding homeless encampment in the woods on their property that has given them cause for concern because no one seems to know who is responsible for it. Bach said her children are afraid to play outside and...
