Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted a projectile launched from Syria after Damascus accused Jerusalem of carrying out a rare daytime attack on the south of the country on Sunday. Pictures from Israel’s popular Mount Hermon ski resort, which was full of tourists enjoying the snow-filled hill, showed two trails from Iron Dome missiles while screams from children were heard in a video from the scene. The interception came shortly after the Syrian regime accused Israel of carrying out airstrikes in the south of the country, triggering air defenses that intercepted several of them.

President Donald Trump sent out a Tweet on Sunday morning saying that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has “behaved so irrationally” that she has “become a Radical Democrat.” “Nancy Pelosi has behaved so irrationally & has gone so far left that she has become a Radical Democrat,” Trump said in a Tweet. “She is so petrified by the ‘lefties’ in her party that she has lost control,” Trump said. “And by the way,” Trump said, “clean up the streets in San Francisco, they are disgusting.” In two earlier Tweets on Sunday morning, Trump criticized Pelosi for rejecting his offer on immigration...

If it seemed like they were lumping masculinity in with harassment and bullying, it’s because they were lumping masculinity in with harassment and bullying. Masculinity is toxic! I’m willing to bet they lost a ton of customers over that little stunt. This is the best response I’ve seen yet. Egard Watch Company took Gillette HEAD on.

January 20, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Francis promoted one of his protegées within the Vatican, Argentine bishop Gustavo Oscar Zanchetta, despite the Vatican having received evidence prior to the bishop's promotion of sexual misconduct, which included accusations of "sexual harassment" of adult seminarians, taking "nude selfies," and exhibiting “obscene” behavior. The Rev. Juan José Manzano, the former general vicar of Zanchetta in Argentina, told these facts to Associated Press, which released its report today. He stated that already in 2015, and then in 2017, Pope Francis spoke with Zanchetta twice about his misconduct. The news comes on the heels of the Vatican announcing...

A stunning map published this month by Smithsonian Magazine provides new details about the expansive nature of U.S. military involvement around the world as it relates to the post-9/11 “war on terror.” Contrary to the narrative that the war is winding down, the map resembles a modern-day version of shows a U.S. military presence akin to the period when the the ‘sun never sat on the British empire.’ Some 17 years after the war began, U.S. military presence globally is expanding and has now spread to more than 40 percent of the world’s countries. By ‘presence,’ that includes U.S. military...

Imagine that a scientist wanted to conduct an experiment to see if it’s true that blind hatred of President Trump has led Democrats and their media handmaidens to go ’round the bend and off the cliff. Such a scientist would inject a damning — and false — media report about Trump into the political bloodstream, then observe the reactions. It wouldn’t take long. The Gotcha! glee, the declarations of Trump’s certain impeachment for suborning perjury, reckless references to Richard Nixon, the breathless anticipation of resignation and disgrace, perhaps prison — these and other overheated reactions quickly clogged the airwaves and...

DAVOS, Switzerland (AP) – As the world’s financial and political elites convene here in the Swiss Alps for the World Economic Forum, their vision of ever-closer commercial and political ties is under attack – and the economic outlook is darkening. Britain’s political system has been thrown into chaos as the country negotiates a messy divorce from the European Union. Under President Donald Trump, the United States is imposing trade sanctions on friend and foe alike, and the government is paralyzed by a partial shutdown that forced Trump and a high-level U.S. delegation to cancel the trip to Davos. French President...

BuzzFeed and the hateful left-wing media is at it again — these MAGA teens were doxxed and are now in fear for their lives! On Friday, a group of high school boys from Kentucky went to the Lincoln Memorial after attending the March For Life. While standing at the memorial a Native American activist, Nathan Phillips, approached the boys and started harassing them. Phillips, reportedly a Vietnam veteran, got up in one boy’s face and started screaming and beating his drum inches from the boy’s face. According to one of the high school boys who was present, a group of...

Linda Sarsour and her comrades realized to their own surprise and astonishment, one does not have to restrict one’s love only to the dead Jews of the Holocaust: other dead Jews are as good. When faced with cataclysmic or unprecedented events, even astute observers of history tend to throw away their knowledge and proclaim a new reality, the one devoid of the past. Take Francis Fukuyama and his bombastic essay of “The End of History.” Fukuyama, a talented student of the world, fell into historical amnesia forced by the collapse of the Soviet Union. Antisemitism, one of the most ancient...

An Ypsilanti man says he was trying to teach a few students dressed in American Indian theme party about respecting Native Americans. Not long afterward, Nathan Phillips said that an interaction with party-goers and students turned ugly. Nathan Phillips says he was out for a noon walk on a Saturday in mid-April. He walked by a home where he saw Eastern Michigan University students dressed as Native Americans. "They had little feathers on, I was just going to walk by," Phillips said. "A group of them said 'Come on over, come here.'" He says he walked over to the...

Caravan migrants aren't exactly living up to their early billing, supposedly this time coming to seek asylum in Mexico. Actually, they're coming here. And the flimsiness of their asylum claims lies not just in their statements of wanting 'a better life' in the U.S., but in their disdain for a generous benefit package that Mexico has ready to offer them. According to Agence France-Press: Mexican authorities are urging the migrants to cross the border legally and offering expedited "visitor cards" that let them work and access basic health care in Mexico. So far, 969 migrants from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala...

Saturday was National Popcorn Day, but I’ve been nibbling on popcorn all week as Nancy Pelosi learned a lesson about presidential power and the media was gut checked by the special prosecutor. I haven’t had this much fun since election night 2016. While she might have thought otherwise, the power of the commander-in-chief is far greater than that of the speaker of the House, and the humiliating way this was brought home to the congressional equivalent of Maerose Prizzi (h/t Michael Walsh) was something. She anticipated that she and her posse of cronies and their families (reports of a ninety-some...

Call it the $350 million question. Over the next six weeks, the Pennsylvania Turnpike will try to decide whether to rehabilitate its five sets of tunnels one at a time over 10 to 15 years or enter into a public-private partnership with one firm that would do all of the work in five to six years and be responsible for maintenance for about 30 years. And the $350 million is key because a large part of that money would be the upfront cost if the agency decides to pursue a partnership, said Brad Heigel, the turnpike’s chief engineer. Mr. Heigel...

Lawmakers and experts are sounding the alarm about "deepfakes," forged videos that look remarkably real, warning they will be the next phase in disinformation campaigns. The manipulated videos make it difficult to distinguish between fact and fiction, as artificial intelligence technology produces fake content that looks increasingly real. The issue has the attention of lawmakers from both parties on Capitol Hill. “It is almost too late to sound the alarm before this technology is released — it has been unleashed … and now we are playing a bit of defense,” Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner (D-Va.) told The...

When a BuzzFeed reporter first sought comment on the news outlet’s explosive report that President Trump had directed his lawyer to lie to Congress, the spokesman for special counsel Robert S. Mueller III treated the request as he would almost any other story. The reporter informed Mueller’s spokesman, Peter Carr, that he and a colleague had “a story coming stating that Michael Cohen was directed by President Trump himself to lie to Congress about his negotiations related to the Trump Moscow project,” according to copies of their emails provided by a BuzzFeed spokesman. Importantly, the reporter made no reference to...

The National Rifle Association's (NRA) insurance policy known as NRA Carry Guard is for concealed carriers who want personal liability insurance. The insurance policy protects carriers from civil liability and "provides them with immediate access to attorneys, supplementary payments as needed for bail, criminal defense legal retainer fees, lawful firearm replacement, compensation while in court, psychological support and cleanup costs for any covered claim resulting from the use of a legally possessed firearm—including an act of self-defense." Washington State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler on Tuesday announced a ban "on the sale of illegal insurance policies branded by the National Rifle...

A fire Sunday morning in Northwest Washington, D.C., damaged studios for Fox News, C-SPAN and MSNBC, and forced "Fox News Sunday" to relocate its broadcast to a local affiliate's studio. D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted that an electrical fire broke out in the 8th floor television studio but nobody was injured. Steve Scully, the political editor for C-SPAN, tweeted shortly after 7 a.m. that the Fox News and C-SPAN studios sustained "extensive damage," and MSNBC's studio took on "extensive smoke and water damage."

(Skip) The Associated Press reported that Gillette’s new toxic-masculinity ad caused an “online uproar.” “Gillette Ad With a #MeToo Edge Attracts Support and Outrage,” claimed The New York Times. “Gillette faces backlash and boycott over ‘#MeToo advert,” ran a typical headline in the BBC this week. Outrage? Uproar? Backlash? I’d say it’s more like a hacklash. It’s journalists dealing out pretend outrage. (Skip) After an anonymous Twitter user posing as a hater posted video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doing a cute “Breakfast Club” dance on a rooftop while she was apparently still in college, Republicans were reported to be going bonkers....
