Authorities are investigating a shooting that involves five victims in a residential neighborhood. Police say the victims are four adults and one child. The gunman was among the dead. Gilbert police Lt. John Lyle says authorities aren't looking for a suspect in Wednesday afternoon's shooting at a home. Authorities say the gunman's identity and motives aren't immediately known. The names of the other four dead haven't been released. The shootings occurred after 1 p.m. in a residential area.

One of the more insane claims in Ron Paul’s newsletters was that the Israelis were behind the WTC bombings in 1993: Whether [the 1993 World Trade Center bombing] was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly a retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little. This claim is of course so ridiculous and absurd that even Paul has to protect himself by claiming that “a Jewish friend” told him about it. What a handy rhetorical device! Last night in his post debate interview with Sean Hannity, Ron Paul was asked once again about the racists newsletters that were published in his name in the early 1990′s. I have heard this subject discussed multiple times and have come to a personal conclusion about his answer to questions and his responsibility for those words.
