As Philip Klein points out, it’s a good thing that this “history lesson†comes from the Left’s favorite Palestinian moderate. Lord knows how this would have unfolded with a less rational personage than Mahmoud “Abu Mazen†Abbas. The Palestinian leader opened the first Palestinian National Council in 22 years yesterday, hoping to firm up his credibility enough to establish his preferred line of succession as well as unite Palestinians under his leadership. And what better way to accomplish this than some unadulterated and absolutely bat-s*** crazy anti-Semitic conspiracy theories? In a long and rambling at speech in Ramallah at...

Do you remember Kurt Schlichter’s column from February 2017? The one where he noted that “…finally, the Right has taken Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and shoved it up where #TheResistance don’t shine”? [ed. - MOTUS has been at it for nearly 10 years.] It’s the one where he points out that of all the people who might have become Andrew Breitbart’s standard bearer, the one person who took it up was the the least likely candidate: Bizarrely, the guy who picked up the standard and carried it forward when our beloved commander was felled by fate was a New...

The recent attack on two men wearing kippas in Berlin has alarmed the Central Jewish Council. On Tuesday its President, Josef Schuster, advised Germany’s Jews against wearing kippas in cities like Berlin or Munich. […] Jewish people living in Germany’s major cities should “wear a baseball cap or something else”, rather than the traditional Jewish head covering, Schuster suggested. Schuster warned that if open anti-Semitism is not countered, then democracy in Germany is in danger. “It is not just anti-Semitism; it is also racism and xenophobia. This requires a clear stop sign,” he said. Despite this warning, Schuster said in...

Muslim parents recently erupted when the Jersey City school board announced it would not suddenly cancel classes for all students to mark Islam’s Eid al-Adha holiday, due Sept. 24. But the parents wanted the state to accept their religious event, and to impose their holiday on other students. One Muslim woman who attended the September 17 meeting said, “‘We’re no longer the minority, that’s clear from tonight. We’re going to be the majority soon.” According...

Josef Schuster, the head of Germany's Central Council of Jews, told broadcaster Radioeins Tuesday that wearing a skullcap is right in principle, but that he was advising individuals "against showing themselves openly with a kippa in a big-city setting in Germany, and wear a baseball cap or something else to cover...

Organization says mixing immigration and terrorism harms MuslimsTwo anti-Trump organizations filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that a government report earlier this year linking immigrants to most of the country’s terrorism cases since 2001 is so misleading that it violates federal law. The request seeks to recruit federal judges to police the accuracy of the administration, in what — if it’s successful — could become a model for anti-Trump groups to push back on a president they see as having a tenuous connection to the truth. The January report concluded that 73 percent of the 549 people convicted of international terrorism...
