Washington (CNN)Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton by a single percentage point in Missouri, according to a Monmouth University poll released Tuesday. The survey found that 44% of voters support Trump, while 43% back Clinton, well within the poll's margin of error of 4.9 percentage points. Another 8% of respondents told pollsters they intend to vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson, 1% said they would write in another candidate,and the remaining 5% were undecided.

BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS • Police early Wednesday morning said they haven't been able to find a 13-year-old girl suspected of shooting and critically wounding a couple in their 70s during a beauty supply store robbery the day before.The girl was considered armed and dangerous. LOUIS • Activists supporting the Black Lives Matter movement temporarily blocked westbound traffic on Highway 40 (Interstate 64) downtown Saturday afternoon as part of a protest to raise the issue of racial inequality. Earlier Saturday, several local groups, including the Organization for Black Struggle and the St. Louis chapter of Hands Up United, had organized a rally at the Old Courthouse. BALLWIN, MO (KTVI)- A police officer is listed in critical, stable condition after being shot during a traffic stop Friday in west St. Louis County. It happened shortly before 11 a.m. in the 300 block of New Ballwin Road, in Ballwin, MO. The officer sustained a wound to the neck. The officer, who works for the Ballwin Police Department, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials say the officer was at the traffic stop and approached the suspect vehicle. As he returned back to his squad car, the suspect exited his vehicle and fired three shots.

Missouri Senate Majority Floor Leader Mike Kehoe (R-Dist. 6) says he and his GOP colleagues are ready to override Governor Jay Nixon’s (D) veto of permitless carry legislation. Nixon vetoed the legislation, SB 656, on June 27, just over two weeks after defenseless Orlando, Florida, residents demonstrated the dangers unarmed citizens face when targeted by a determined armed attacker. According to The Kansas City Star, House Speaker Todd Richardson (R-Dist. 152) said the House will override the veto if an override attempt prevails in the Senate.

The Missouri House of Representatives passed a “Constitutional Carry” bill Monday, protecting the rights of citizens to carry handguns without a permit. House Bill 1468 — introduced by Representative Eric Burlison — passed by an overwhelming 112-37 vote and will now head to the state Senate.

Of them, Trump is leading polls in nine, according to the RealClearPolitics average, including some of the most important, winner-take-all states. The other states — Hawaii, Maine, Idaho, and Missouri — don't have any recent polls listed on the site. They're also the three states with the fewest delegates to award. The Pentagon has responded to a globally-released ‘Kill List’, asking law enforcement to give extra protection for military personnel whose personal information was released,News Channel 10 reports.
