Washington (CNN) — Donald Trump's path to 270 electoral votes remains precarious -- but with some breaks, he can get there. Trump's campaign has made clear exactly what its targets are. It is spending $25 million on TV ads in the final week of the campaign in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Virginia, Nevada and New Hampshire. Those ad buys are based on the assumption that Trump doesn't need extra help to keep Arizona, Georgia, Utah, Texas or any other traditionally red state in the Republican column. The eighth Congressional District of Minnesota is a working class area in Eastern Minnesota. It has voted for a Democrat in the last four Presidential elections. It has a Democrat Congressman and will likely be the most expensive Congressional race this year. Usually, a Democrat Presidential candidate would win. But a recent poll held a shock: Donald Trump is up 12 points! And more: Trump is winning among women. And the Democrat Party is losing members. They’re becoming Independents.

Abby Honold did everything a rape victim was supposed to do. At first, that wasn't enough. The bite marks and bruises were still fresh on Abby Honold’s body when she learned that the man who’d raped her had been released from jail. The 19-year-old University of Minnesota junior did everything a rape victim was supposed to do. After she escaped, she immediately called 911. She went to a hospital...

About 100 people rallied and marched in Edina on Saturday to protest police brutality, blocking the busy intersection at 50th and France for about 40 minutes. The gathering, organized around the theme of "I Am a Man," was held to address the issues of racial profiling and police violence against black men, including fatal police shootings of Jamar Clark and Philando Castile. Its initial inspiration was last week's encounter between a black pedestrian and a plainclothes Edina police officer, part of which was caught on camera. Black men were invited to stand together on the steps of City Hall, where...

Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau says the two officers involved in the shooting death of Jamar Clark in November 2015 did not violate Minneapolis Police Department policies and says she supports their actions. Harteau said the use of force review is "extensive" and outlined the many steps investigators took before they came to the...

A Muslim advocacy group is calling for a northern Minnesota high school to cancel an event with a speaker whom they describe as an anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist. The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) says that John Guandolo should no longer be invited to speak at Bagley High School because his message is one that shouldn’t be highlighted on a taxpayer-funded platform. The perception that the high school may be endorsing Guandolo’s anti-Muslim bigotry could lead to a hostile learning environment for Muslim and other minority students,” said Jaylani Hussein, the executive director of CAIR-MN, in a...
