    Metta World Peace agreed to a two-year deal with the Knicks, 14 years after the club passed him over in the NBA draft. World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest of Queensbridge, reportedly accepted the remaining portion of the Knicks mini mid-level which will pay him $1.6 million this year. World Peace, who played at St. John's, was released by the Lakers via the amnesty clause.
