Anger is beginning to erupt nationwide over what many perceive to be media bias against Mitt Romney and other Republican or conservative-oriented candidates. The Media Research Center has consistently provided examples of bias against the Republican challenger to President Obama. The bias extends beyond actual news reporting and includes the well-known proclivity of Hollywood to back leftist candidates, exemplified by the recent disclosures that funds would be provided to “push” a pro-Obama message on purely entertainment television shows. The incentive may well be a redundancy. Indeed, some broadcasts, David Letterman being a prime example, already sound like humorous infomercials on...

Like all of you i've had enough of the left wing bias from this nation's corrupt media. Considering how the media fell in love with the Occupy movement and how they've once again shown their hand to be corrupt and criminal, attempting to alter the outcome of a national election, why don't we turn the tables on them?? A coordinated date in October where conservative groups ban together and "occupy" media headquarters around the nation?? This would take some planning as well as some dedication on our parts but this can be done if we are steadfast. Ideas? Thoughts?? Connections...

The election of 1972 was a contest between the liberal media and the silent majority. President Nixon won a landslide victory for re-election that year carrying every state in the union except Massachusetts by running against the elite liberal media which, in turn, did everything short of illegal activities to defeat him.The media exacted its revenge in 1973 with the Watergate witch-hunt which essentially overturned the election. The election of 1980 saw much the same dynamic with Ronald Reagan defeating the incumbent liberal President Jimmy Carter and his media lackeys. Vice President George Bush did it again in 1988 when...

Full title: Ground Reports from the “Depression that Shall Not Be Named” — things we notice that the corrupt media won’t report that show this is indeed a Depression On my desk, just under the computer monitor, I have a little box full of slips of scrap paper. I’ve been doing this since I was a kid because the nuns who taught me in Catholic School refused to ever waste paper. Anything that comes into my home that’s blank on one side and has outlived its usefulness is drawn and quartered and spends some time as scrap paper in that...

The New York Times is developing a bad habit of sending its columns to the Obama administration for approval. Daniel Harper at the Weekly Standard reported yesterday on a no-no committed by then-contributing Times columnist Peter Orszag, former director of Obama's Office of Management and Budget and an Obama-care booster in an October 20, 2010 column, "Malpractice Methodology." Halper wrote in part: The latest Bob Woodward books reveals that Peter Orszag, at the time a columnist for the New York Times, sent a draft of an article to White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett for review and comments before publishing....

MSM was furious with Mitt Romney today after he issued a strongly-worded condemnation of the state department's initial apology and today criticized the Obama administration for attempting to placate our attackers. Romney didn't apologize. He condemned. More importantly, he led. It was a move that shamed President Obama by comparison. Media went into overdrive to protect Obama, their political investment. Politifact brought out three "apology" experts to help lay the groundwork for Obama to deflect. Multiple outlets attempted to reframe the focus on Romney's response, which they chided, as opposed to Obama's foreign policy fumble and his failure to fortify...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: So let me tell you what's happening out there, folks. I'm gonna give you a timeline here in just a second. I'm gonna tell you things that you probably don't know about what's happening in the Middle East, and I'm gonna tell you why it's happening and why idiots are wrong about why it's happening. But what really is going on, is there is a coordinated effort by the media, in coordination with the White House, to turn this story... what is this about? I'm trying to be calm, cool, collected, reserved, professional. We're in the midst...

This has been an extremely disquieting day, for several reasons. First and foremost, the US Ambassador to Libya was murdered in cold blood last night, along with three other diplomats -- and horrifying images of the carnage are being beamed around the world. A few basic facts via Reuters:  The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three embassy staff were killed in an attack on the Benghazi consulate and a safe house refuge, stormed by Islamist gunmen blaming America for a film they said insulted the Prophet Mohammad. Gunmen had attacked and set fire to the U.S. consulate in the...

Romney on now regarding yesterday's attacks on the US. Reporters are barking like mad dogs in their rage to hurt Romney, bombarding him with questions about his strong denunciation of the attacks yesterday and Obama's craven apology to the Muslim world. 'Do you feel you were wrong when you denounced the attacks yesterday?' 'Do you feel you were unfair to President Obama in your remarks?' 'How would a President Romney have acted?' Disgusting.

As NewsBusters previously reported, ABC's Brian Ross on Friday falsely accused a Tea Party member of being the "James" Holmes that orchestrated the movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colorado. "Jim" Holmes during an interview with the Daily Caller had some harsh words for his accuser saying, "What kind of idiot makes that kind of statement?” “Really, seriously, how do we take a journalist seriously when it’s pretty clear they really haven’t done any sort of check on their facts?” told the Caller's Alex Pappas: Holmes informed Pappas that ABC News didn’t contact him before Ross went on air. In fact,...

A Fortune investigation reveals that the ATF never intentionally allowed guns to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. How the world came to believe just the opposite is a tale of rivalry, murder, and political bloodlust. In the annals of impossible assignments, Dave Voth's ranked high. In 2009 the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives promoted Voth to lead Phoenix Group VII, one of seven new ATF groups along the Southwest border tasked with stopping guns from being trafficked into Mexico's vicious drug war. Some call it the "parade of ants"; others the "river of iron."...

Bias: Now that the media have fully covered a 150-year old Mormon massacre and Ann Romney's pet horse, maybe they can start looking into charges the man in the White House may have tried to bribe a critic into silence. If you're worried about Mitt Romney being fully vetted, don't be. The Los Angeles Times is all over it. Just look at Tuesday's edition. On page one, above the fold, the august West Coast daily ran a weirdly irrelevant story about a lawsuit involving Ann Romney and a horse she once owned. But that was nothing compared to the Washington...

That’s the headline on yesterday's AP story by Charles Babington. The headline appeared on the main Yahoo page, which is far more heavily trafficked than any newspaper, and was picked up, based on a Google News search, by several hundred newspapers.*snip* The idea was to attribute plausibility to what is in fact a laughable suggestion. In order to effect the economy, Republicans would have to 1) enact policies that would do one or the other, or 2) block the Democrats from enacting policies that would do one or the other. The Republicans haven’t enacted anything since the Democrats took control...

When two white newspaper reporters for the Virginian-Pilot were driving through Norfolk, and were set upon and beaten by a mob of young blacks — beaten so badly that they had to take a week off from work — that might seem to have been news that should have been reported, at least by their own newspaper. But it wasn't. "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News Channel was the first major television program to report this incident. Yet this story is not just a Norfolk story, either in what happened or in how the media and the authorities have...

The Daily Show, which is a left wing show, got it right when they did this segment compiling how some people at Fox News who were lukewarm on Mitt Romney are now suddenly in the tank for him since Santorum dropped out. The Link: Video: Fox News' Sudden Love for Romney/a>

In Katie Pavlich’s devastating new expose of the Eric Holder Justice Department-approved Fast and Furious operation, Pavlich doesn’t just expose the Obama administration. She exposes the mainstream media for what they are: tools of the Democratic Party, and of the White House. As Pavlich recounts, the first mainstream media outlet to report on Fast and Furious was CBS Evening News, which aired a report by Sharyl Attkinson. She stated that the scandal itself was so awful that “some insiders say it surpasses the shoot-out at Ruby Ridge and the deadly siege at Waco.” She pointed out that the Bureau of...

Any hope that the media might fairly and responsibly cover the shooting death of black teenager Trayvon Martin was effectively doomed the moment Al Sharpton descended on Sanford, Florida, and started holding rallies with the victim’s family. Recall that Sharpton once said of Clarence Thomas’s tenure on the Supreme Court, “I remember growing up reading Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Now I get to see it.” Unless they agree with his race-driven political agenda, Sharpton is not above accusing even African Americans of wanting to return to a day when the Fugitive Slave Act was still on the books.

From Remington Arms to The Daily Caller NBC continues to attack Remington and the firearms industry through sensational and factually inaccurate reporting. On April 11, 2012, Brian Williams again demonstrated NBC’s anti-gun agenda with the claim that the Model 870, Model 1100 and other Remington firearms have a design flaw. That claim is demonstrably false and Remington stands fully behind the safety and reliability of the most popular shotguns in the world. It wasn’t enough for NBC to attack over 20 million Remington firearms; they also called the Second Amendment into question by suggesting that there is a need for...

(Reuters) - NBC News' decision to air an edited call from George Zimmerman to police in the moments before he shot Trayvon Martin was "a mistake and not a deliberate act to misrepresent the phone call," according the president of network's news division. The edit in question, which aired on the network's flagship "Today" morning show last week, made it appear that Zimmerman told police that Martin was black without being prompted, when, in fact, the full tape reveals that the neighborhood watch captain only did so when responding to a question posed by a dispatcher. Under growing public pressure...

NBC has launched an internal probe after running an edited version of the 911 call from George Zimmerman -- the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin -- that made Zimmerman sound racist. "We have launched an internal investigation into the editorial process surrounding this particular story," the network said in a statement to the Washington Post on Monday. NBC's "Today" show ran the edited audio of George Zimmerman's phone call to a police dispatcher in which Zimmerman says: "'This guy looks like he's up to no good … he looks black."
