There has been a reoccurring thought- that POTUS would declare martial law if he saw his legacy about to go down the drain. So, I wrote a book along this line. Essentially, I believe that there would be a schism, with much of the south and midwest declaring their allegiance to the Constitution and resisting the Washington dictates.
