Madonna has angered her neighbors by hogging almost four cars' worth of prime parking space outside her $40 million Upper East Side townhouse - arranging to install fake 'No parking' signs to scare other motorists away. The fake signage includes a 'No parking' sign posted on the singer's security gate, and a 'Tenant parking only' sign mounted on a pole in a flower bed on the sidewalk. Both signs threaten that 'unauthorized vehicles will be towed away.' The signs differ in design and language from official Department of Transportation notices.

The concert, at the 55,000-seat National Stadium, will be Madonna's first-ever in largely conservative Singapore. Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” might have been number 1 if it weren’t for the soundtrack to the TV series “Empire.” When the numbers come in this afternoon at hitsdailydouble, “Rebel Heart” will be number 1 on the total chart, which counts streaming and all digital downloads. “Empire” will be number 1. “Empire” will also finish at number 1 on Billboard’s chart, as they now count everything, too. Who could have guessed that “Empire” would come out of nowhere and steal all the attention in the culture? It’s out of left field, an ambush of sorts.

Internationally-recognized pop music sensation Madonna on Thursday said anti-Semitism and "growing intolerance" in Europe, and especially in France, has reached a level that "feels like Nazi Germany." During an interview with Europe 1 radio that is set to be aired in-full on Friday morning, the pop diva said "anti-Semitism is at an all-time high," in France and Europe. Setting aside a fall off stage during her performance at a Brit Awards, the 56-year-old star expressed her concern over the "climate of extreme fear" that has surfaced across the European continent, and which she likened to the era during the rise...

Madonna falls and the world gasps… in laughter. Let’s be honest, most of us howled ourselves hoarse watching the self-acclaimed Material Girl morph into Material Hurl at the BRIT Awards, Britain’s answer to the Grammys. For me, it perfectly personified the state of this once great legend’s career: dying on her a** in a pit of ignominy. I don’t say that with any glee. I say it as someone who used to worship the ground she gyrated on. I watched Madonna perform at London’s Wembley Stadium in 1987 with a great friend of mine. We were both 22, she’d just...

Madonna’s show-closing number at the 35th Annual BRIT Awards, held Wednesday at the O2 Arena in London, marked her first BRITS performance in 20 years. It should have been a triumph for the “Living for Love” diva, but a scary onstage wardrobe malfunction ruined the moment and nearly led to disaster. After a processional through the crowd with Madonna dressed in a full-body shroud, the singer’s devil-horned dancers attempted to remove her cape as she stood precariously at the edge of the stage’s upper platform. It appears, from almost instantly posted YouTube and Vine videos of the live broadcast, that...

She has dominated the airwaves during 30 years as a chart-topper, but now Radio 1 has decided that Madonna is an immaterial girl and just too old for its teenage listeners. Despite her determined efforts to look – and sound – youthful, the 56-year-old has been dropped from the station’s playlist that determines which songs are played by DJs during the day. Madonna’s latest song is Living For Love and has been available for airplay since December 20 last year.

Bold move. Madonna’s been busy on Instagram promoting her upcoming 13th studio album Rebel Hearts by Photoshopping her cover art look onto famous heads like Marilyn Monroe and Homer Simpson. The iconic singer, however, upset fans when she took it a step further and began altering the famous faces of world leaders like civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. and former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela. “This #rebelheart had a dream!” the “Like a Virgin” songstress captioned a Photoshopped image of MLK Jr. on Friday, Jan. 2, replicating her album cover, which features her face tied with black...

A 13-track album of new music from Madonna has reportedly leaked onto the web. Oh No They Didn’t theorizes that the release could be the entirety of Madonna’s as-yet-unannounced thirteenth studio album, rumored to be titled either Unapologetic B**** or Iconic. Madonna’s camp has experienced a fury of unauthorized leaks in recent weeks, leading to the singer’s manager, Guy Oseary, to enlist the public’s help. “I would be grateful to any Madonna fans that can assist us in finding those responsible for the leak,” Oseary tweeted after a song called “Rebel Heart” hit the web late last month. “We appreciate...

In a split second, her sensuality was replaced by ‘all-out rage’ as she launched into a screaming tirade at the film crew. ‘She was constantly screaming at them, telling them they were a ‘bunch of f****** idiots,’ recalls Ron Weisner, her long-suffering manager at the time. The video shoot for Like A Virgin would cement Madonna’s place as a bona fide star and help turn her into a global pop icon. But for several turbulent days on location in Venice, Italy, in 1984 it was, recalls Weisner, ‘like a fury had been unleashed’. ‘When I bitched back at her she...

Madonna, no stranger to shock, is at it again, this time posting a picture of herself in a niqab on Instagram Tuesday. In the photo, only the 55-year-old’s piercing blue eyes can be seen through a gold-adorned headscarf. Frequently confused with a burqa, the former only covers the face, while the latter covers the whole body.
