Ironically enough, the piece starts out responding to what the author sees as unfair allegations that Wellesley students and professors foster “an environment where free speech is not allowed or is a violated right. Former Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez told reporters on Wednesday that he is mulling over the prospects of running for Senate against Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) in the 2018 election. Two minority student groups at Harvard have been forced to apologize after they put up fake deportation warnings in dorm rooms to frighten students. Notices from the fake 'Harvard Special Investigations Unit' were put up this week warning that one of their fellow students had been detained indefinitely. 'We regret to inform you that a resident of this dorm has been detained indefinitely due to suspicious actions, suspected violent inclinations, or suspicion of being a deportable alien (i.e. questionable residency status),' the flyers read.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) has raked in over $5 million dollars in the first quarter of 2017 while gearing up for re-election in 2018. Warren's campaign account has increased from $4.8 million to more than $9.2 million, after receiving over $5.2 million in campaign funds this year, according to CNS News. In comparison, Warren only received $1 million in the 4th quarter of 2016. A major contributor to the funds was MoveOn.org, a liberal organization that raised over $250,000 for Warren. Geils Band, was found dead in his Groton, Massachusetts home. He was 71. Geils and the band are best known for their album, "Freeze Frame" and the song "Centerfold," which hit No. 1 for six weeks. The Tufts University student senate passed a resolution calling on the university to divest from four companies that do business with Israel. The resolution, titled “A Resolution Calling for Tufts University to End Investments in The Israeli Occupation,” passed the Tufts Community Union Senate on Sunday night by a vote of 17 in favor and six opposed, with eight abstentions.
